This wouldn't have affected the main pool at all. Solo has been running uninterrupted.

All excellent information for anyone who rents hash and chases the variable orders.

Thanks for sharing.

no changes for now we have about  8 hours on each one.

we gained an hour of hash time making the switch from  .0076 fixed to .0072-.0073 not fixed.

good luck to us.

philipma1957 - thanks for doing this, and I'm ok with however you choose to manage the order.

That being said, don't concentrate too much on the +/- speed that nicehash shows.  Only the speed paying really matters.  The +/- percentages result from the estimations based on the different diff levels between miners<->nicehash and nicehash<->solo.ck.

The difference between the two numbers should approach zero as time goes on.

the long term seldom goes negative but it can and has during ddos attacks

ck was toying with his pool trying to give china a good port

our west hash order dropped its free hash of +2%  do not know how long it will stay down so I figure I may as well drop our price on the westhash to .0072 vs .0073

now comes a new choice if I look at the westhash order #781525 I am paying .0073  there is finally enough cushion under me to drop to .0072 and not zero out for being too low.

So should I do it.  well .0072 is cheaper then .0073  so a bot would do it.

I have a second factor to look at at the .0073 level I am getting extra hash I look and it is at +1.82%

that 1.82% is more savings then dropping from .0073 to .0072 which is 1.389%

so I stand pat .

and review in 5 minutes or so.

screen shots for above

this order at this point in time has given us +4.6%   really good.

not bad at all

i went and checked again

westhash is   + 2.41%------------------- I leave well enough alone

nice hash is   -0.56% ------------------- I only worry at -10%

net for all 740th since we switched is 1%.

and we also are paying .0073 vs .0076 which is 3 percent

so in terms of improvement in cost we gained 4%.

was it smart  to do this well if we hit a block it is good and we have a profit. won't know if the other way would have made 2 blocks but we still did a profit who cares.

if we don't we will never know if staying pat until the fixed order ran down to zero then spend the 1.5 on a second fixed would have been better.  or if no matter what we did we simply would not of hit a block.

the unfixed orders have way more change on these stats then fixed.

So sometimes if I have a dog order say -5%  or -10% I cancel the order or maybe drop from 370th to 5th then go back and boost to 370th.

translation a lot of work and time but on 7.5btc you could save 10% on a dog order or gain 5% on a good order.

and the work starts I am bumping the nice hash from .0072 to .0073 as someone has out bid us

so order 781515 at 370 th is now at .0073 on nice hash due to being out bid it dropped to 13 th and will take time to build to 370th.

the west hash order 781525 has jumped to 392th this does happen

could it be that it's the opposite....I'm seeing 781525 running.....

no i wrote order 78515 was out bid and dropping

and now a second high bid occurred so 781515  is zeroed out for now.

I also wrote 781525 is running well and just bit over 370.
I have some time right now so playing around with the two orders is fun  to do.

you can see why bots suck as they would have jumped me 2 or 3 times on the idle order . i did one jump vs 2 or 3

still at a high of 57 billion

ok 880TH now

yeah we don't have control when overhash occurs other then cancel the order.

over hash is not so bad under hash is not so bad.  lost hash is bad.  wait for screen shot  I can show what i mean.
at this spot we are losing hash
