★Bitin.io★ - Instant Exchange
9k a year is not that much actually

0.05360334 BTC per day
And it's only 9k for the first year. It's 3k for each subsequent year after.

Affordable by me!
0.01786778 BTC per day

But it sucks, their site is total crap, the main page photo is broken!

They just started. I am sure will be instant success.

Site is down and has been down for a few days now. If I made a facebook clone and put up a 9k entry fee, anyone keen to buy in? It would be very exclusive! You could be like the only member!

It would be funny if they shut down forever

I could pay bills, rent a house, and buy foods for a year with $9k. Just wonder how many idiots will spend their money for this.

I think this is satire

In my opinion, Netropolitan will not succeed as a business. There are not many customers who are willing to fork out a hefty sum of nine thousand United States dollars in order to participate in a social network which may or may not be devoid of a large community of users. The main purpose of a social network is to, of course, socialize. You need to take into account whether the affluent would-be users of Netropolitan will use it to conversate with current acquaintances or to seek out and connect with new ones. In the former case, a user would easily be able to create an account (if they do not already have one in this day and age) on any messaging application readily available for download on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or even desktop computer. If the user wishes to find new friends for whatever reason, it would likely not be one of their first priorities to pay nine thousand United States dollars to create an account on a brand new social network. It is a risky gamble, for they may not find any new friends at all, and their initial investment will have been in vain.

Theymos, unban my account.
Haha! I wonder if anyone actually paid for that crap. He's probably just someone trying to make a quick buck.

I would join this later when I had over 9 K to spend for it for one year trial spend to see if I did like it or not. From that, I'd know whether I like the SPAM-meat-eating crews at FB or the Rich caviar and French cheese eaters at the other one. I could successfully do a comparison.

Is this a joke? If not, I doubt it will work.

Most rich people are rich because they don't buy every crap in sight. They are very sensible when it comes to value for money. A simple social network account without concierge service for $ 9K? No way! Rich people are not dumb.

ya.ya.yo!

That's businessmen you're referring to

Most of the really rich people are businessmen. And most of them don't seek public attention. The rich people that seek public attention (most of them from showbiz) are a minority among them. Although a good portion of these public rich people is actually broke (live on credit) because of excessive spending they shape the public perception of rich people.

ya.ya.yo!

The really rich, the one percenters, actually do their best to stay away from cameras, off the TVs, off the press.
