With which browser? Android or iOS?

All posts are showing the right edit time/author on my end (Safari, iOS 12).

I added it for mobile devices only using CSS media queries, but it seems to only work on the very newest browsers.

Seems a little broken? They all have times of 0 I guess you’ve noticed this though.

Does it still do that? I never saw that.

🤩Finally Married🤩

I've changed the OP according your suggestion, let's see what will happen Smiley
Hope we can get this one implemented. Seems like theymos was busy fixing the trust scores the past weeksa after the account recovery fix, which is great, so there is a hope for this one too Smiley

I think its way better if we have both.
Something like this:

Then if it has been edited it will show this:

Ask theymos to add a nice little button in php. Grin

This is actually a good idea, of course if he can find some time for it. I'm sure I'm not the only one using the forum from a mobile device and this issue will bother other people to, so until we wait for the new forum software this can be a good solution.

New forum software? It wouldn't surprise me if they've stopped trying to develop it or if it's just theymos on his own stuff this point.

I generally access the forum on my phone quite a bit it would be nice to see if this was added but I'm not sure how much I'd use it. Maybe even not a button but something that says.

That's what we are talking about:

As someone else has said it doesn't look like it can actually be done. That's my tip for hovering over links at least.

So the only option I found til now is playing with the source code :
Code:

Searching for class="edited" shows all the edited comments in the page.

This is the only * method working without additional apps on my Android phone with Chrome mobile browser.

Tried holding+sliding, tapping with 2 fingers, the Desktop mode...
*- see below Cheesy
On Android:

Go to Settings -> Accesibility. Turn Select to Speak ON. A new icon will appear in bottom right corner of the screen:

Tap the Jesus, then select the dotted date (just the first few letters should be enough) and it will read "Last edit...". And I mean IT WILL LITERALLY READ IT ALOUD, HOW COOL IS THAT?  Grin

Edit: as bL4nkcode mentioned below, there might be variations in how these settings work, perhaps depending on Android version / vendor etc. The above is from Lenovo 8.0. Under Accessibility you can also set up a shortcut so that holding volume buttons for 3 seconds turns this on/off.

This actually did work. I guess this is the easiest way til now.Smiley
If you have Huawei the Jesus version is called Select-to-speak.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
No, you can using chrome at least:
Just add:
view-source:
before the link in chrome navigation bar
Ah, okay my bad, it works but it will give you a headache first to find the exact thing using mobile, and you have to use the Find in page to do it, and not all people loves to see the source code since it's too complicated.

I have to on the talkback and turn to speak feature for this but it really works.  Cheesy
