On Android:

Go to Settings -> Accesibility. Turn Select to Speak ON. A new icon will appear in bottom right corner of the screen:

Tap the Jesus, then select the dotted date (just the first few letters should be enough) and it will read "Last edit...". And I mean IT WILL LITERALLY READ IT ALOUD, HOW COOL IS THAT?  Grin

Didn't know something like that, Pretty cool. But the thing is, after I enable that Select To Speak, it doesn't read and talk about the last edited, hence it only just read the date when the post was created.

I was wrong. It really is reading when it was last edited. (Just Tried to edit my post and used that Jesus thing). And this proves that you can also count on Jesus even on android problems Cheesy

Edit: as bL4nkcode mentioned below, there might be variations in how these settings work, perhaps depending on Android version / vendor etc. The above is from Lenovo 8.0. Under Accesibility you can also set up a shortcut so that holding volume buttons for 3 seconds turns this on/off.

If you really want to know when the post was edited, I recommend to open the page's source code, it is safer and easier.:
Obviously, you can't do that in mobile mode, there's even no existing browser in mobile that can view the site's source code as well.
...

No, you can using chrome at least:
Just add:
view-source:
before the link in chrome navigation bar

Can you change the view on your mobile from App mode to Desktop Mode ?

This should be work to see it ! But dont know exactly bro .

Yes you can, of you're currently using chrome app then you you should be able to switvh on desktop mode.

On the upper right side, you will see the Three Dots, Click it and a Drop Down Menu will show up, Drag down and you will see Desktop Site Checkbox.
But it still not showing, coz the forum looks the same whether you use a mobile device in desktop mode or not and in desktop devices.

But still I dont think that the hover function will now be enable after you've done this.

Edited: I tried enabling my pointer on android using developer options and it seems not working, I also tried downloading an app but it doesnt work as well, The same with having the desktop site enabled

The hover thing will not appear in mobile since it's only a title attribute and it has default function as tooltip same as hover. If theymos will do some jquery/css design modifications then it will show in mobile as well which I guess he will not.

It’s the thing where you can pick stuff up as an image?
Hover is the same thing as mouse_over event.

There are some apps that allow you to do so, which I don't recommend (obviously for security reasons).

If you really want to know when the post was edited, I recommend to open the page's source code, it is safer and easier.
Here is an exemple:

Probably not. AFAIK, there is no way to "hover" the text, which is what you need to do to see it.

My hover on touchscreens, and it seems by default, is to press, hold and swipe slightly so as to not be inferred as a tap but a hover. It’s a bit advanced though.

Doesn’t work every time either, enjoy!
I can't manage to do this on my iPhone (IOS 12).

What is your phone? Android or IOS?

It works on my iPad. I haven’t tried it on my android phone yet...

Unless I’ve just got it wrong but:

Update: Now on the mobile browsers you should see this:

Edited: for test

The old post below this line

Nowadays more and more people are accessing the forum trough mobile devices but the site has no mobile version yet and some features are inaccessible, like the "Last edit" of a post.
There are some ways to get that info like looking through the source code, installing 3rd party software, or calling Jesus* but all those are really inconvenient.

So our short request is to add the "Last edit" info as a text instead of a rollover.

Something like this:
~
First posted: datetime Last edited: datetime

My original old post below this line.

Didn't find anything searching the forum about this issue.
Is there any way to see the date and time when a post is modified, while I'm on my mobile?
I see the dots under the post time and date, but that's all Sad

Please edit the OP so people can easily play with the edited mouseover.  Smiley
