There is a lot of confusion about this Jackpot thing. Lets try to clarify everything.

1) HOW IS THE JACKPOT TRIGGERED?2) WHO SPINS THE JACKPOT WHEEL?Let's talk about the Jackpots
1) HOW IS THE JACKPOT TRIGGERED?
The jackpot wheel is triggered when the multiplier reaches 50x (MINI), 250× (MAJOR) or 1,000× (MEGA). Immediately after the round ends, one lucky player is chosen to spin the jackpot wheel.
All the players who participated (bet) during the round get a chance to be selected to spin the wheel, regardless whether they cashed out or crashed.Only specification I feel the need to do is the following: the bet amount of the single player has no impact on this part; the kind of Jackpot activated (mini/major/mega) only depends on game bust multiplier so forget the bet amount and forget your bet outcome (win or lose doesn't matter here).
Lets go for the second part. This is when the wagered amount is taken into account.
2) WHO SPINS THE JACKPOT WHEEL?
One player out of all the round participants is selected to spin the jackpot wheel. The players who make larger bets have a proportionally better chance to be selected. However, one single player can never have more than 90% chance to spin. The probability of being selected in any given round is displayed on the leaderboard.
Lets keep into consideration the example screenshot I just took off the game and do some math to make everything clear once for all.
- as you can easily verify the total bet amount is (0.25+1.5+1.1+0.75+0.5+0.4+0.25+0.25+0.25)=5.25
- dividing the bet amount of the player "whatever" by the total amount wagered and multipling it by 100 we get the percentage value of player "whatever" bet compared to the total amount betted (0.25/5.25)*100= 4,76xxx%
As you can see in the image above 4.76% corresponds exactly to the value displayed "Spin chance" columm for player "whatever".
So that percentage corresponds to the probability of being chosen as the player that spins the jackpot wheel (jackpot wheel determined as described in part 1) ) or at least is what site claims.
Repeat the calculation for every player participating in that round.
Hope this helps
