Yesterday the rules about Merit changed. Now, If you want to participate in Signature Bounty at least, how a Junior Member you would have to have 1 Merit. Many people, who was selling Bitcointalk's accounts lost their subject of earnings. The team of Bitcointalk lost 2-3 BTC per day, for accounts from IP with proxybans. It's very sad. I have 90 posts and Newbie... I lost my Signature. A lot of people lost their Signatures. In many Youtube bounties, i have participated in, I lost my tokens, because they need rank on the forum from Junior Member. Thank you..
Which team and which accounts? Please list them all. Smiley

I think they are teams that have more than 100 multiaccounts. Grin

1 merit? Hey, I thought it should have been at least 5, can't you even prove your quality by getting just 1 merit graded for your contribution over the forum (if you ever managed to contribute in a non-spam qualifiable manner)?

Either you're kidding or you don't really know this - account selling is not encouraged here and those found doing so, gets a red mark from the whole community. It's favorable for you if you learn and grow your account on your own, instead of buying an account you're not even aware of (maybe the account did shitposts, or had loans and/or you may not be qualified enough to match the quality that account had when it was used by its original owner to post).

Sure enough, eh? Any proof?  Huh

Feel sorry for you, but that's how it's needed to be handled as admins have had been lenient enough with these shitposters and if you can't really manage to just get 1 merit, I believe you or anybody with no such efficiency is of no use to any bounty campaigns as you're not even confident about your work that you'll ever manage that 1 merit to get through.

I'm very sad when I'm from jr member to newbie, I can not make signature on bitcointalk but bitcointalk has changed rules and I think it's good for forums when there are too many jr members make signature without merit, they can make multiple bitcointalk accounts because their rank is too low to earn more tokens and make rank jr member not have much value, now newbie needs 1 merit to become jr member, this makes newbie need to try more to improve the article quality and make the forum better and better

So guys, one Marit is must have to become a participant of a signature/bounty campaign? For any rank or for upper rank higher number of merits needed? Can someone post the link from official source about new rules?
I already noticed that some of signature campaigns settled their own minimal number of merits needed to join the campaign and for every rank the number is different. So from now is it necessary rule to have a mirit for each campaign? Well, I expected that.

Here is the original link https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/enhanced-newbie-restrictions-requirements-5030366 Its ok by me, to pay 10-15$ to be copper member and to participate in signatures is reasonable price.
Thank you for the link. It was really interesting to read all of those opinions and cryings  Grin
Cooper membership doesn't cost much indeed, if a person wishes to move on as a member he simply should pay, it's really not much.

Hi, I think that this is a very good innovation. Very much now has become spammers. Now Junior Member will be able to earn more. But soon in the telegram will sell accounts with the rank of Junior Member, which is not very good.

Well, this was the main idea behind the change... It's not really hard to get 1 merit, newbies are just frightened now, but after a few days this hype will just stop and people will start to adapt to the new situation...

I hope you don't despair and remain enthusiastic in discussing. With this new regulation, of course this aims to be better in developing forums for the future. This must be realized sincerely, so it should be noted that this forum is not only to make money by participating in prize campaigns. I might understand a little about your writing in this regard, but it will be even more important if you start now you have to reach more or provide useful posts. So you get at least 1 # interest to go up to Junior members. Keep your enthusiasm, O friend, the journey is still very long. Thank you, I apologize if I am wrong in this paper and please correct it.

Although saddened by the downgrade, I think the law is fair and necessary to improve the quality of the forum, just as youtube has changed its partner policy to improve the quality of the videos.

The answer is : "Copper member is not an actual rank, it is something added to your rank. In order to be eligible for rewards on signature bounties, you have to be minimum Jr. Member." - from a bounty manager.
That's up to the campaign manager. In my last campaign, I accepted Copper Members of any rank. The catch is of course that they also needed to have earned 35 Merit.
Anybody with such high post quality, including Newbie, is welcome in any campaign I run.

You participate for bounty purposes and not forum development, so I think these complaints do not make sense.

If you can't eartn at least one merit in your first hundred posts, and you are an active bounty spammer, then many members will consider you to be a parasite here.

If signature campaigns only accept Member or higher, I think we will have a fresh forum.
There is my opinion.

The Copper Membership gives you the signature size as the regular Member. So applying to any sig. campaign you gonna get paid as a normal Member rank. Most of the campaigns out there are fine with the Copper membership, check with your Campaign Manager. I think this is enough for an answer.
