just curious, why necrobump the thread? the thread is 1 year old, the OP made one post and then disappeared. how did you even find this thread, I'm pretty sure this thread has been buried long ago.

looking at your post history, this is not the only thread here on Beginners & Help that you necrobumped.
Don't just ask, it's better to find out what the problem is. The search feature can be used before asking so you don't create the same topic that has already been discussed. Most beginners keep asking questions repeatedly. being new to the crypto world is not an excuse to be lazy to find out first, there is a lot of knowledge that can be read carefully and also read the forum rules so that other members don't ignore it. Cryptocurrency is a very wide world, with various kinds of digital asset innovations and future payment technologies.

the thing is, Abbatty wasn't asking for advice or something, he was giving them. As I said before, this isn't the only thread he necrobumped and if you look at his post history and check the posts he made on the threads he necrobumped, you'll understand why I asked the question.

All you need to do, though, is educate yourself on cryptocurrencies right now. Follow the links that were supplied and conduct as much research as you can. Your investments shouldn't be hurried; instead, try to focus and get additional information about the topic. Engage in extensive study to learn about cryptography. Discover more about the coin by browsing the forum. Stay on the forum longer and gain more cryptocurrency knowledge.

Make sure that you learn from the other member's mistakes, and avoid the mistakes that they did so that you're minimizing the risk of your investment.

At the same time, you could use the forum to share your journey or experiences in the cryptocurrency space, if you encounter some issues you could always ask here in the forum a lot of members are experienced and know cryptocurrency which could easily help you, Good luck on your journey mate!

What have you prepared before entering the crypto space?
Keep in mind, money alone is not enough to start investing in Bitcoin, you must be equipped with knowledge about how to invest in Bitcoin. Before doing something you must be equipped with knowledge and money, if one of them is not there then what you are going to do will be in vain.
Learn the science of investing in Bitcoin first, after that you can start investing slowly. Now that you are in the right place to learn what you want, what you need is here, you need to be a little patient by reading all the important information to understand how to invest safely.

After taking for granted that you will educate yourself before making any investment decision by reading the sources shared above, and answering your question, I think we are in a good moment, after a long accumulation phase, and chances are that the cycle repeats once again thanks to next year's halving and we experience a bull run in a few months.

Of course, this is just my hope (and I'm sure that other members here share the same hope) but predictions in markets, and more in crypto markets, are only dreams. Take it into account before jumping into cryptos: no one will be able to tell you for sure what will happen next hour.

Why would you think you're late?. If you are interested then why not do what you want to do but first is you have to learn more about crypto and also the forum rules to avoid getting banned for example. About buying crypto or not is a different story as it is up to you if you want to buy but as I have said, knowledge comes first. If I were you then you should follow what mk4 adviced to you about learning securities and many more.

If you are new in crypto world, the best strategy for you is long term investment. To support your long term investment, dollar cost averaging is for you.

Check https://dcabtc.com/

Even if your plan is long term, because you are newbies, you will still have very extreme emotion in first few months in this market. You will need a few years to get familiar with volatility of crypto market. Anyway, DCA is here to help you not only to get profit but also to get rid of emotional impact on your decisions.

When you see the coin prices are going down and see the red candle is there, it could be a good time to buy, but it still needs more analysis to find out what coins you can buy. If you decide to buy bitcoin, you can buy it immediately when the red candle appears on the market or still wait for the price to go lower.

If the price is at a low price, try to buy a little and wait for the movement. If the price drops again but not too deep, you can keep waiting. But if the price drops too deep, you can buy again. But it all depends on the strategy you use because people also buy immediately when the price drops. Before you start buying, make sure you've learned about the basic stages of trading, so you know when to buy.

You can wait before you invest but you should start to learn as early as you've seen the materials given and suggested to you by everyone in here.

Investing needs to take a lot of time before you decide to buy bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies that you prefer to invest in. Also, you need determine your plans whether you're for long term or you just want to come and pass by as a short term investor.

This is so important! There are so many "influencers" out there or people straight up shilling some coins for the sake of their own return.
Whenever you are going to invest in the future, make sure that you spent enough time researching about the coin or the project and that you are not being hyped up or influenced by anyone that is pumping some random shitcoin.
Influencers who only share shitcoins cannot be trusted. They only care about their own profit. Many new influencers are starting to emerge. Even today shitcoins are also emerging from among famous people who have a lot of followers.
No matter how popular the person is, if you are promoting a new coin, you have to be careful and do some research, of course. Many people are trapped because of some hype done by influencers on youtube.

what needs to be done is to do your own research instead of having to rely on other people's words or advice that you can't necessarily justify. Because the decision made by yourself is the most appropriate decision, Personal money is your own responsibility.

Now can be a good time for you to start investing if your investment is going to be a long term kind of investment.

I don’t think the market would go any lower than it is right, it’s still going to be anywhere close to that range, so investing now wouldn’t be a wrong decision. Invest now in the market and HODL, you’re going to benefit from in the next few years when the market goes up.

You can as well use the strategy that’s called DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging), that way you invest over time, maybe monthly or so, this way you get to invest at this different levels, instead of going in all at once. Good luck.

I believe there is no good or bad time to enter the crypto... If you believe and trust the system and you are at least a bit financial educated, you will find many benefits of crypto.
Crypto itself provide a lot of opportunity, it is individual which one you will choose to do.

Hi. I am new to the bitcoin topic, could you give me some advice if now is a good time to get into crypto, or should I wait. Thanks in advance!

The first thing you need to ask yourself is this: what do you want to get out of bitcoin? Do you just want to "make money quick", or do you really understand what you are investing in? The last thing you want to do is get into something that you don't understand, and then try to make money off of it.
Do you understand what bitcoin is? What will your bitcoin investment mean to you in 5, 10 or even 20 years? If you can't answer that, you're wasting your time. Do your research, and don't invest in anything you don't understand.

Actually, you are asking about financial advice that we don't author to give. Just want to say you have to learn many things before entering crypto. It's not an investment Ponzi scheme where you may expect a fixed return. It's about you are buying assets that would give you profit or loss. Research more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency how it works. Use YouTube, Google and spend more time on the forum. No one could say when is the right time to enter crypto. You have to take your own decision based on your experience.

Every time is a good time to get into crypto but not every time that's good to make purchases/buy. Now that you're interested, concentrate on learning the rudiments of cryptocurrency while your steer clear of investing in any at the moment. Go through those links that have been put out in the post above and familiarise yourself with terminologies therein. Don't be in a haste to do any investment because the market is bearish now. Take your time and read.
