My thought is that WAVES unlike other projects actually has some users and projects using and running things on the platform. That's more than can be said for a lot of cryptos, still researching before jumping in, but I think Waves is a winner.
I always liked the unique approach to PoS (Leasing) that Waves has. You get different types of altcoins, some of which may end up valuable in the future. This could become one of Waves' strongest merits if they actually reach larger scale adoption through a DEX that caters to professional traders.

Yeah, I agree that is good to get some airdropped tokens sometimes, but the lease interest in Waves is too low!
Maybe there is something wrong with this system... Why isn't there any other known LPoS?

I'm a leaser for almost half a year and got practical nothing to show in terms of dividends.

I don't know how exactly Waves leasing works, but I think you only get a share of the Waves that are used for fees on the platform, which currently isn't very popular because of the weak DEX. So your return in Waves will be low.
The altcoins that I've gotten so far were worth quite a bit though, but I don't know how much of that was because of leasing and how much from WCT...

Maybe someone else has some hard data?

Its clear that dex needs a better place to be and more tools around it soo any potencial investor will feel trust and see up and downs as others exchanges does provide those information. But well besides those i believe waves can and will compete with ethereum once the smart contract get live, imagine the new ICO always coming using waves, getting milions invested, making those money to return to lenders or holders of the network, unlike eth that doesnt offer nothing besides the smart contracts.

You get few Waves right now because the platform isn't used much. Once the new DEX and Wallet come out and usage increases the leasing rewards will go up too. But this will take some time. Look at how long it took Ethereum to get big and then check how long Waves has existed to get a feel.

This is what I think as well, I see some coins with  a good market cap but no one uses the coins for anything, waves in the other hand is a project that may work, it is exactly what we need with the recent closing from some exchanges in china we should be aware that more than ever we need decentralized exchanges and waves is one of the best out there.

What do you guys and gals think? When moon?

It is not really important the when, we know that is going to the moon at some time in the future, the important thing is what are you doing to get as much waves as you can, I know that as soon as this month ends I’m going to get all the waves that I can, and wait for my profits to come to me, waves is one of those projects that have a lot of room to grow and we are going to see that in the next months and years.

I like the new roadmap as new features are giving WAVES even bigger advantages over other platforms for smart contracts. I predict a price raise in next months.

DEX is too poor now. A lot of work to do with it.  stop-losses, charts, list of all orders inall pairs, design at last...  mobile version is the same

the dex is nonexistent atm makes trade nearly impossible, a huge ui overhaul is in progress, good thing is this hasnt been priced in!
I've been thinking about buying extra Waves because of this... but it's so quiet around Waves that I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

One of the few useful projects with working technology, solid partnerships and great team. Price now is awesome for entry I think. Buy my waves higher but not really worried about decline.
I don't really see the working technology though... the DEX is useless in its current state and there doesn't seem to be any date for a new one, even though Waves is pretty old already.

I have just realized now that they added dex to ios mobile version. They really work very good. I mean developpers. They never stops providing to their community better solution. I do not care about if it is cheap now or not but you should be blind to see the potential in waves.

Already the road map of the wave coin going to toward the better ways because already the waves coin teams manage the signature campaign for the  wave coin with many numbers of the participants and also we can see that not only marketing working for the increasing the value of the wave coin but also here we can see clearly that the technology of this COIN is also a better thing for the better investment for the future .
Well here I was a big investor of the wave coin and also made much profit with that with perfect timing .

They presented a nice exchange with cute interface (old DEX have a terrible one), waiting for WAVES explorer - it is one of the most important steps for becoming "BestBlockChainAfterEthereum".
Do you have a link to the new exchange? The only "news" about Waves that I could find on Google were about Cryptopia delisting Waves cause of too many forks that caused financial losses for people.

Waves is definitely something to look out, the current price now is totally a steal if based on satoshi value

Waves has a good blockchain, good platform to use tbh
Have you used the Waves DEX? It's pretty bad right now and completely unusable for any serious trader. Which is also why the volume is so low. The proposition is nice, but so far they didn't deliver.

I'm still waiting for a useful decentralized exchange and I'm hoping that Waves will put out soon, in which case the price would surely skyrocket. But this day hasn't come yet.

Not completely unstable, i use it a lot and it works well. But like you said, when the new DEX comes out, it'll help for more smoother trades.
He did say unusable though, not unstable. And the DEX really is complete trash compared to the leading crypto exchanges (no charts, no indicators, can't change time frequency etc.), so it might as well be unusable. There is no reason to use Waves DEX over Bittrex or something else... Until this changes Waves will stay flat at best.
