It is better to be late than do nothing, when Antshares team moved away from Wave like platform to smartcontract, i was expecting Waves team to react and be proactive which they didn't do.
I still have questions mark on the ability of the team to develop a competitive platform, just look at the WavesDex

This is a very exciting moment for me. Waves is a solid project, I do think we just need to be patient. Waves will moon sooner than we think. I am seeing lots of projects being built on top of waves as well. We need to support them too. The sky is not the limit.
