Why is this thread bumped up? Anyway, this should be bumped up as this is a very useful thread. :p.

How does BTC trading work? Sites that I visit have all these transactions going on that I do not understand. Simple Explanation?

There is a lot of Bitcoin trading sites. Each have their own way of showing charts and transactions. It would be great if you could post a link and/or screenshot.

Normally, there will be two tables on the site. One for buying Bitcoin and another one for selling Bitcoin. The one with lower than average price would normally be the Buying Bitcoin table. And hence the one with higher than average price would be the Selling Bitcoin table. I (or maybe others) could not explain more unless you attach a link or screenshot.

There seems to be quite a few pros in this thread - what are your thoughts on using https://www.blockchainapi.org/ ?  I came across them in my quest to find a reputable site to generate and monitor new wallet addresses. There's no long sign up process required!

I should also add that https://www.blockchainapi.org/ is:

Simple and easy to use -> All it takes is one simple API request and you've got a payment address ready to give to your customer. Funds will be forwarded directly to your Bitcoin address, and you'll receive HTTP notifications when payments are received.

They are safe and secure -> the API and backend systems are secured with HTTPS and high-grade firewalls. Bitcoins are transferred to you ASAP, so there's nothing to worry about!

They are tested and error-free -> APIs have protections in place for every possible problem, so you won't have to worry about strange errors or issues when using the API.

Hope you enjoy using there services just as I have!

Sounds like a SCAM to me.

What makes you think they are "safe and secure"?  Who owns and operates the business?  What country is it registered in?  Is it regulated?  Is it insured?

How do you know that it is "tested and error-free"?  What reputable third party performed the testing?

Use of that site is a disaster just waiting to happen.

Will bitcoin eventually rise or it will fail and reach a value of zero dollars?
There is no chance of lowering of prices. but if you are a smart investor, then you should keep an eye on the fluctuation of prices.

I think bitcoin will not reach a zero dollar for a couple next years, but no one know the future.
Just follow the trend and do technical analysis is the best way to predict bitcoin price.

Hopefully this won't happen next couple of years , I think bitcoin will remain on its unstable price, it will just decrease if something bad happen with bitcoins or people will not use it anymore. But you are right just keep with the flow and do some research.

I have heard that bitcoin keeps fluctuating, why is this so? What makes it unstable?

it is a new technology and the market is still small in comparison to something like gold market. also despite the large number of users (investors) in bitcoin there is still small number of them besides a great number of these people have limited information about investments and how market works so on the sight of first FUD they panic and start to act according to their panic hence the swings.

It's all about supply and demand.  It is a free market so there is no bottom, it can go really high or really low.  Good thing is with it still being pretty new... I think long term prospects are good.  But that is speculation.

The truth is there is no guarantees in bitcoin.  Do not invest more then you can lose.

Hi sir how can i know if the predict will go down?do you have any ways to read the predicts of bitcoin?

That's depends on how your experience, you need to learn about the price movement, you can use fundamental analysis(it's based on news feed/trend) and technical analysis(it's based on chart price, actually there are many way technic to doing this analysis). But there are nothing guaranteed 100% the predicts is correct.

I don't think it will reach zero dollars ever at this point.  It is pretty much the "gold" of digital currency.  So far there is not another that is going take over.

Even if one takes over one day I think BTC would always be a alt coin in worse case.   We are still very early with with digital currency so anything could happen I guess.

I purchased bitcoins from an ATM. I don't have a smartphone so I didn't exchange
codes with the machine. Instead I asked machine to generate a paper wallet for me.
I have Multibit wallet on my desktop. do I need to transfer the coins to my desktop wallet
before I can spend them online or can I make a purchase with the paper wallet?
thanks!

Is there any place in this forum were i can post my peer to peer bitcoin lending link ?

exp :-BTCJAM BITLENDINGCLUB and so on

When you say link is it a refferral link?  Or is this a site you own?

I think that might decide if it would go in services or loan forum.  Or possibly no where if you are just a referral.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/intersango-howto-build-your-own-bitcoin-exchange-web-site-35812
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/17007/what-is-needed-to-make-a-bitcoin-exchange

Thanks for the sites, my head just explode ahaha, what i want is something like ebay but instead of using any curreny i only use bitcoin.

I see, you just want to create a bitcoin marketplace, isn't?
You can use open bazaar source code if you want: https://github.com/OpenBazaar/OpenBazaar

This is Great! Thank you!
