Hmm.. Good idea. If you could, why not have it on old message too? Just check if the message at the time of sending is Newbie or not. After that, we could have a personal setting that let us set a minimum rank to show warning for message.

This is an awesome idea. Will hopefully prevent the situations where scammers imitate the names of reputable members.

How difficult would it be to add a PM warning for accounts that have changed passwords recently (or ever)?

I found hard to believe old users fall for newbies scam attempts easily. Hope this helps. Good addition theymos.

We know people have fallen for newbie scams before (like account names with ' after them)

PMs from newbies now have a warning added to the beginning of the PM. The warning is actually added to the PM's text, so it won't be added to old PMs or removed when the sender leaves newbie status.

The warning is:
!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!
