Adding an IQ test to the newbie graduation process wouldn't do any harm. Wink

Serious point: We need some way to segregate the community, it's being overwhelmed by idiots.

Probably should be in the FAQ section, but does the Newbie restriction get lifted automatically after 3 hours and 5 posts, or does someone have to go mark me as "graduated"?
whoops, I just noticed - apparently the system checks every 10 minutes and releases qualified people out of newbie jail..

I just reactivated an account I made in 2011 and it has newbie restrictions.  Weird.

I think there should be email notif for new registered users that they must to post in Newbies in order to get "trusted". It's quite confusing now.

Anyone saw the new asicminer? That thing will be kick ass in the next few possible weeks!
I can't wait to see what it can do. However, it's going to put a lot of BTC miners out of business!

This took me way too long to find.  It would be nice to have this information up front.

Maybe I missed it but I think the "Newbie requirements" should be part of the sign-up process even so that you don't have to navigate the whole forum just find out why you can't post.

You missed it Smiley

Most people speed-click through that stuff though... I missed it too.

...aaaaaand that should be the end of my sentence. So long, suckers!  FREEEEEEDDOOOOOOOM!  Smiley
Nature of the societal A.D.D. beast I suppose then xD
