And just btw isnt Thermos selling copper accounts officially?
That can be bought by anyone and you can know the ownership not changing for that that can only change a few features. But when you will sell or buy the account then ownership will be changed manner/activity of the previous owner and the new owner can be different but for copper ownership not changing so activity/manner not changing.
For being a copper membership the owner of the account cant get any advantages from the community I mean cant sell reversible payment, cant take loan for the rank, can take part on the higher ranked campaign and so on. But if account sells then all this opportunity can be taken by the account.

Why should i be responsible for some noob?
Yes, I think you are not responsible for that and you should not be responsible for that.

And btw who can prove he is scamming?
S/he is selling account which can increase scam, spam. And once s/he will sell the account and the account will be tagged and after tagging the account will the seller return the money? The seller knows very well that account will be tagged that's why not posting from the real account or s/he has no legendary account.

If all information can be matched even we cant call the person who is selling the account is the real owner of the mentioned account and/or any other account as s/he can claim anything butwecant call him/her real owner until s/he can proof his/her ownership.

Maybe a little harsh, but shit like this really pisses me off.

If i wouldnt have been contacted by PM, i would never know of this BS.

My account is not for sale! Tripple Xmark!!!
I think those people who are trying to find out matching information just wasting time nothing else. As I can post by a newbie account that account of you will be sold, so what will happen? Does that mean you are responsible?

How the fuck do i get involved in this BS?
Easy: anyone can screenshot any account and claim to sell it. It doesn't mean anything.

The day someone claims to be selling my account will be the day I tag an account seller!

Thanks for your effort, sorry but I do not think screenshot can be considered sufficient proof. Even if all of its parts are clear. (I can simply edit the image after it is captured or modified from the browser.)
As for trust, it is different if this user has modified their trust list.
Anyway, that account (bernard75) is a DT member so I assume that (@sellinglegandaryaccount) is a scammer because the account will cost much more.

You seem to be wrong.   Tongue Tongue

Anyone may tell that the person will sell a legendary account and the seller may provide few criteria or screenshot which seems to be theymos, so should we tag, theymos?
We cant tag until any strong evidence.
snip
You have provided a lot of info which is matching with the so-called selling account but what is the evidence that the seller is the real owner of that account and/or any other legendary account. There is a lot of scammers and they can say anything as I said first.
Anyway, thats not mine, but astonishingly close.
If that's not you then what's your problem?
Anyway, thats not mine, but astonishingly close.
Please prove this by sending me a pm from the account you're selling.
If you (sellinglegandaryaccount) are afraid to send LoyceMobile your account details then you may send that to (LoyceV).

I did some research and the Most likely profile being sold is: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bernard75-81795.

This account couldn't tag by depend on suspicion. Need strong evidence before tag this kind of account. If seller use screenshots of my account and unfortunately I changed password then should I got tag?

Tagged seller, I don't don't think he/she have any green trust account for sell. His/her intention is just scam people's. Green trust could be removed any time by the way. Because most of time I follow that person where I left positive feedback's. I would like to remove positive feedback's when I will noticed any suspicious activity from that profile. So its just a scam trap.

I asked account trader about 'bernard75': https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.50891179

This will discourage potential buyers from purchasing the profile, I guess.

2. Trust Score
Very likely to have been altered through HTML editing to make members chase a dead end.
I suppose this depends on Trust settings. I see bernard75' trust score as 10 at this moment.

4. Merit
Also likely to have been altered through HTML editing to make members chase a dead end.
I don't think this is a tricky attempt to confuse members.
Possibly, the difference between merit amount is due to the fact that account seller posted a screenshot of the profile with 1000 merit, and after that bernard75 received 2 additional merit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=81795 (BPIP)

I think this is more of a reputation thing than a scam accusation since no one was scammed. OP you can move it to the reputations board so that some DT members can look into it.

Impressive detective work, after looking through your reply... chances are high that it could be the account being sold. Let's wait, see what other people think about it.

Hmmm well i am accusing him of scamming people (or trying to scam people), so i believe this is the proper board.

Since we don't know if the legendary account is actually involved in this, his / her reputation can't be the topic. (correct me if i'm wrong)

I did some research and the Most likely profile being sold is: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bernard75-81795.

Summary:
1. The account has been very activity over the last couple of years like it used to be, probably more reason for the owner to sell it.
2. Account hasn't changed email or password accounting to Metalog as of today and the posting style to hasn't changed since it was created
3. Owner seems to know German language well and some bit of Spanish too... Perhaps he was using google translate for to post in Spanish

PROOF
1. Sales Announcement:
Account is proven to be of a known German Local Board regular, First sell announcement was made in the German Local Board

2. Trust Score
Very likely to have been altered through HTML editing to make members chase a dead end.
Could have been due to different trust settings
I suppose this depends on Trust settings. I see bernard75' trust score as 10 at this moment.
3. Activity and posts
Initials of activity and post on the screenshot of the account being sold are both 1 and 2 just like on the profile of bernard75 which are 1316 and 2190 respectively.

4. Merit
Also likely to have been altered through HTML editing to make members chase a dead end.
Thanks to Veleor, user recently received merit as pointed out
I don't think this is a tricky attempt to confuse members.

5. Date Registered
Account on the screenshot: 00-02-2013, 12:02:43
Suspected account on sale: 18-02-2013, 12:02:43

6. Avatar
The avatar on the account in the screenshot is the same as the one the suspected account is bearing.
Quick question thou, How many legendary members have that kind of avatar?

7. Signature
No signature for both profiles

8. Last active
At the time of the announcement, the account on sale was showing online or at-least was last active in the last few minutes before the announcement.
- Last active of suspected account (Bernard75)

- Last active of account seller (sellinglegandaryaccount)

There is a 9 minute difference between the last activity of the 2 accounts

9. Screenshot Comparison

Account sellers are not to be trusted - especially when it's about high ranked accounts.
Probably he is not even the owner of the account.
There is a chance that the owner of the legendary account is another person so cant tag that legendary account but the person who posted account sale topic has been tagged to avoid scam or discourage scammer.

I think that chance is 100%.  Wink

Thank you!
