We need to wait theymos for the announcement because I saw a lot of newbie from my group, cant post but other ranks can.
The HTTP 500 issue is not related to evil points. A newbie member from my local board was facing the same issue (he is able to post previously). He needs to buy Copper Membership to be able to post again (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.45899868). This is probably a glitch.
I think there is something wrong here. I don't think theymos try to unwelcome new member and impel them to buy copper member. Actually, bitcointalk forum is facing an issue and admins/mods are trying to fix them. This is my thought.

Buy out the copper membership here with theymos you can get even an avatar on your profile. It is just a little amount and it will take you to even like a member rank. Exactly this is an evil IP if the account is brandnew with zero post. I have suggest already the OP to get the copper membership and enjoy its benefits. theymos is very considerate on this letting a newbie to wear an avatar is a privilege already given to a newbie with even a little amount to pay!
