They think for an easy money yet they lose easily because they believe on the hype. Many stories of newbies experience like this and i feel bad for them because they make no action to improve their knowledge. If you lose, its your fault and the next thing will happen to you will base on your effort.

it is not about courage. it is about the opportunity existing. that is all.

for example when some scammer tells idiots he is Satoshi and they eat it up, then that scammer would milk them dry as much as he can. and as long as those idiots exist, the scammers exist too because their methods are profitable for them.

it is the same with shitcoins and pump and dumps. if people stopped giving their money away to ICO scammers, and copycoin creators then we would have never seen thousands of them around. we could instead see real good projects develop and shine in this market.

Most people are looking for a quick profit and cryptocurrency is the best way to do it since the price is extremely volatile. It's true that the "bull run" that happened last 2 years gave the cryptocurrency industry a new investors and traders and also the scam projects rises too.

All the person who wants to earn quickly will find an easy way to do it without studying from start they didn't even know how trading and cryptocurrency works and after that they get scammed and 2 things may happen:

1. They will realize that they get scammed and stop investing to cryptocurrency.
2. They will realize that they get scammed and try learning things from basic to advance and start to invest again.

It is really good that you have sounded this as a note of warning especially now that a new bull run is about to start. Most people will start introducing their friends again without a proper education on how cryptocurrency really works.

These scammers are also coming out quickly.

Feeling sorry for those who have been victimized by these scam projects but it's for all, even in real world investments there are people who aren't aware of what they are investing and becomes a victim of it.

It's only the matter of time when will they get back here. As soon as bulls come fraudulent activities will get back with a new strength. Victims are punished for their greedy decisions, so in some angle it's even honest.
It's one possibility.
They see that the market is fruitful again and there's a lot of cash to take with, I wish that people would learn when the market's healthy again.

I think that in the near future there will be a great time to start investing in cryptocurrencies. I would recommend to avoid ICO for now. Invest only in existing coins and preferably in the top 10, if we talk about beginners.

I agree and also support the idea that investors should be more careful with their investment decisions. Ban every single guy that is pming you on Telegram and trying to scam you and always check the project itself before taking part in it.

You are right but there is other prospect as well fir bull run and that is the same newcomers, i mean market constantly need these new comers and new money coming in for growth and volume increase and that could be possible only when there will be adoption, confidence and trust in the market with hope of better future and i think crypto market does have all these things it is just a matter of bear trend to end and everything will be back to normal hopefully.

Actuallyually they are not newbies now, they learnt a lot in years of bearish trend but still they can't see any hope for the prices to increase after the long hold but they need to hold now since it looks like the start of green trend again.

I used to blame the SEC & the USA strict laws against crypto Fintech, but now i'm 100% pro with those laws.
Crypto needs to be " familiar " with financial law if people wanna have that 100% trust in them, keeping the rate & it is now i won't be surprised to see crypto banned in most countries.

It's sad that crypto becomes the best place for scammer to even scam you with their face / video reveals because the know 100% they'll get away with it. (Hashcard, Excolony, HeliosCoin,...)

This cryptosphere should be legalized as soon as possible, otherwise it will vanish & get back into the dark as the first days / months it started.

It's a shame that scammers, in pursuit of fast money, sell their tokens and withdraw money, causing damage to the crypto market.

most beginners complain about the current market situation, because they don't show the expected development. beginners get used to when prices are above the wind, which is precisely in 2017 and not yet familiar with the current market conditions. My advice for beginners is not to complain a lot about the current market situation, it is better to point out skills and techniques of trading well and correctly in order to get the benefits as expected

I think most people are aware that the ICO they invest into can be a scam, that was my approach to the ICO's in 2017, I lost crypto on 3 out of 4 or more, some of the ICO's ran away with all my money. But I was also lucky enough to have some good ICO's investment who paid for all my bad decisions.
If just one out 4 of your investment do a 5x after the ICO then you are in profit, if you invest the same amount into all ICO you join,

There can be no issues with newbies from 2017 because, its 2 years of immense knowledge, massive pump and dumps, bearish market, and losses
And if there is anyone who has not learnt any lesson, need to take a break and always do their own research massively.

But remember the more people will have learned from the past and they will know how to choose a good project. it looks so stupid to determine if they are not learning from the past exparience of crypto.

After the last bullrun many people have storm this forum looking for a way to get rich quick with zero knowledge of how cryptocurrency actually works if you are one of these people please start from scratch and learn how cryptocurrency really works, the people that joined the crypto train since last bullrun are the ones giving the scammers more courage to create scam projects because of the assurance of making huge money ,if no one invest in scam projects anymore scammers will find there way ,REMEMBER THAT BEFORE THE BULLRUN MANY PEOPLE ARE ALREADY IN CRYPTO WORLD ,INVESTING ,ADOPTING AND LEARNING ,THEY KEPT CRYPTOCURRENCY ALIVE TILL DATE ,THEY CARE MORE ABOUT ITS SURVIVAL NOT QUICK PROFITS,WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PUT SCAMMERS TO SHAME AND IT CANT BE DONE IF WE ARE BLINDLY INVESTING IN THEM.

I think you are making a point here, cryptocurrency world of business needs some basic knowledge of blockchain technology investment principles, how to select the best ICO projects etc, newbies need serious learning process to succeed in the crypto business

Yes you are right. The incidents of new fake ICOs cheating investors and bounty hunters are rampant, and it seems it is unstoppable. So we investors and bounty hunters are those who are directly affected by such fake ICOs. So we must do something to prevent such malpractices from further doing harm. I think strict regulations are very much effective ways in this regard.
