I have run into several Bitcoin "newbies" over the last couple of months, that are spreading the wrong information on forums and/or in person. Their intentions is good, but the results is bad, because they did not do proper research.

Some of these people are selling themselves as experts, because they have been in the scene for a few months. I have been in the scene for years and I still know very little about EVERY aspect of this technology.

I think you should rather admit it, when you do not know something about the technology, than selling your little knowledge as facts. I will regularly tell people that I am not clued up with every aspect of this technology, but I always try to do proper research, when I encounter something that I am not 100% clued up on.

~ Ask, if you not sure.
~ Do not lie, if you are unsure.
~ Do proper research, before you educate other people.
~ Accept that you will not know it all.
~ Fact check what you already know.
~ Do not argue, if you not sure about your facts.

Let's agree that we all learn something new about this great technology almost every day, so only a small amount of us are experts.  Wink

When i was a noob, if i had some spare time, i spent it to find a knowledge about cryptocurrency here.
Today a noob, next year you can be an expert of crypto if you are diligent to seek knowledge and experience in cryptocurrency.

Well, I did get my own hands burnt too as a newbie all with the excited news of the increasing volatility of the bitcoin. The scavengers around have helped fed on the gullibility of newbies like I was. I only feel with more awareness, you can just buy the bitcoin and hodl.

The most dangerous part of having newbies here in cryptocurrency is when they make a topics or news about bitcoin which is fake or not supported by enough facts. Making this news without enough knowledge and research can make the investors to be afraid on investing their money on bitcoin. Although they have the tendency to spread fake news, it is our job to help them and teach them what we learned. Having newbies here will help the community to grow, so if we really want to help, start helping and correct some topics if you think they are posting some fake news.

It is also dangerous for them, luckily or unfortunately there are people who are afraid of this and go away, they do not want to listen or learn. For now we are doing well.

My goodness, this! I'm probably at 2 years+(not that much, but still) but I always feel like an idiot when listening to someone like Andreas Antonopoulos speak. When listening to someone like him I feel like a total newbie(though I probably still am 🤔). I've come to terms with it though, that there's still a lot I have to learn. We never stop learning I guess.
YAS! im totally agrree with you. We never stop to learning. I think the reson behind why many newbies can be so dangerous is because they can easily feel know everything and feeling so superior because can entering the crypto world. but in reality their knowledge is still very little, and they don't have any intention to learn more, and easily being satisfied.
that was true and they think that everything here are very easy to learn and they can have to know here more better in just a short period of time , that in reality everyday you should be learn and never stop learning here in crypto.

Newbies do commit a lot of mistakes in cryptocurrency. There are various types of mistakes that they commit from scammers, dumping in the market as a result of panic sell etc Newbies need to be well educated on the cryptocurrency journey because there are various aspects of it that make it quite challenging. When newbies are not well coached, there will be making too many mistakes that can be deadly.

As the quote of Platon goes "An empty vessel makes the loudest sound", so this is the same thing I guess, whenever you make a few successful trades or have understood some kind of terms you act like a pro but when you see what others are doing (if you do your research for sure) than you are just a bubble.

Newbies are prone to scam if they didn't do their own diligence. They should do a research before they buy a certain coin like  in business where you need to study the business in and out before you run a business.

Totally agree with you, most of us are not experts unfortunately. There are people, who like more writing, than researching Smiley

the fact that the forum is open and everybody is free to air his or her own opinion has given the privilege for them to say their own opinion about the technology and most times people come in just to read and finally end up reading articles from the newbies and get misguided.

I'll support it if I compare myself with experts, in fact I do not know anything, but if I compare with the main mass, I understand something)

I believe that at first, newbies should gather as much knowledge and information about bitcoin and cryptocurrency as they can, before doing any other things. It is true that their contribution are not positive at all, as most of them are not well-informed about cryptocurrency and ended up losing all their money.

Yes it is difficult for newbie because it is wrong to say they have the activity here in the forum they will do. So it's hard to trust now and the only thing we can do is to find out exactly what the answers to our questions are.

Maybe in my opinion the number of beginners is certainly less than supervision or good students, most of them always underestimate bitcoin without knowing and understanding first.

yes i agree, because some user claimed  that they have a knowledge about crypto even if they have just started in couple months only they claimed that they knew everything about crypto world so as a newbie,i thought that everything i have red on the thread would give me a new path to explore the crypto world since i am new to this kind of technology system. So as i advice to those faker who claimed that they know everything in crypto world please stop spreading fake news about cryptocurrency, please stop giving a information that you have not sure, dont be more aggressive on giving info, search more about before you share to others.
