there may be several reasons why a newbie is very dangerous for bitcoin, because the newbie still has no definite experience and the newbie still needs learning. this must be done because if one anticipates and stepped naya losses in the can by newbie

Newbies can be dangerous but first of all for themselves.
Usualy they get involved with Bitcoin without enough information and knowledge having in mind only quick profit. Very often that doesn't happen and then the panic starts and because of that they make a lot of wrong decision making the situation even worse.
But like  I've said, such behaviour harms them but generaly not to the Bitcoin.

yah, but i can say there are newbies which are not dangerous and many of newbies to bitcoin can be dangerous if they do something wrong like posting the fakenews, and do something without thinking. Me as newbie, i think before i click. I have many question in bitcoin but i consult it to my friend that has a knowledge and experienced in bitcoin so that i have learned and not to do dangerous.

There are always misfortune in cryptocurrency market and the impact of this goes to newbie because some newbies made a panic selling during a crash. So I agree with your opinion Kakmakr. If a newbie in bitcoin does not have any idea then investing or doing crypto activities must be slowed yet progressive because if they make anything fast and furiousy, they are also near to the cliff.

This is more than true but we can not do nothing against them all, it is more tha normal to see a newbie in here and we all have been newbies at some point, but i dont have anything against them

I am not just referring to some "Newbies" on this forum, but people who are new to Bitcoin in general. We even have these Couch newbies, who has never owned 1 Satoshi before, but they have the most to say. I call them out, when they are talking nonsense, because they are doing more harm than good.

There is some exceptions on this forum, where people know a lot about Bitcoin and they only joined this forum lately, but you can spot them very quickly.  Grin

this scene is bulging with hot air and very few people are out for anyone other than themselves. approach it from a defensive and skeptical angle and you'll do ok.

Agreed. It doesn't involve more than a healthy dose of common sense in the end. The only thing that might distract people is that they may see this space as their only ticket in life to become wealthy. There have been so many stories in the last years where people out of nothing claim to have become a millionaire with Bitcoin or altcoins, that it motivates people to put their everything in this space without doing prior research. It's the sad reality, but this problem only seems to grow worse the further we go in time. Everything crypto related mostly is about pumps, bull runs, etc. It's a toxic space that has lost my interest significantly lately.

assuming anyone attempting to lord over you is a clueless asshole. there's enough readily accessible info out there to verify anything they're trying to tell you. this scene is bulging with hot air and very few people are out for anyone other than themselves. approach it from a defensive and skeptical angle and you'll do ok.

You are so correct. A lot of newbies are selling themselves as cryptocurrency experts over the Internet nowadays and they are already feeding on the novices. This, to me, is a new way of scam. I hear a good number of them on radio and television in my country and I wonder what kind of knowledge they want to impact if they have no track record.

I think it is a wrong information.if you having proper knowledge about the bitcoin its not be dangerous for newbies.
What proper "information" are you referring to? The only thing Bitcoiners can hold on to is that it is a good long term bet if you hodl. Other than that the market itself is as much of a mystery for everyone here.

The thing is that even hodling isn't as easy as some people here think it is. In order to firmly hodl your coins you need to know what it is like to go through massive corrections.

People quite often tend to act like they are planning to hodl, but that's only on the way up. Everyone can do that. Most people break once the price keeps going down consistently for month after month.

I think this applies to me. I have been in the field of blockchain not for long and I learnt almost everything on this forum, but my friends and families think I am guru in bitcoins and always direct every questions in blockchain and crypto to me. I need to admit that I am still newbie and keep on adding knowledge before I can promulgate that I am even half way expert in bitcoins.
well, that can be very dangerous. so many beginners lose their money in this regard. even some of their dadri are frustrated by the loss of money they have. so before starting my career in the world of cryptocurrency, I advise to be careful in taking every decision.

I, too, many times already came across people who talk very badly about crypto-currency! What is most interesting is that these people do not understand anything in the crypto industry! All they know from the media, so this is just one word - bitcoin! They listen to the wrong news and watch the main mass of people who do not understand!

I have run into several Bitcoin "newbies" over the last couple of months, that are spreading the wrong information on forums and/or in person. Their intentions is good, but the results is bad, because they did not do proper research.

Some of these people are selling themselves as experts, because they have been in the scene for a few months. I have been in the scene for years and I still know very little about EVERY aspect of this technology.

I think you should rather admit it, when you do not know something about the technology, than selling your little knowledge as facts. I will regularly tell people that I am not clued up with every aspect of this technology, but I always try to do proper research, when I encounter something that I am not 100% clued up on.

~ Ask, if you not sure.
~ Do not lie, if you are unsure.
~ Do proper research, before you educate other people.
~ Accept that you will not know it all.
~ Fact check what you already know.
~ Do not argue, if you not sure about your facts.

Let's agree that we all learn something new about this great technology almost every day, so only a small amount of us are experts.  Wink

That's what i think too. btcoin is very risky to new invetors most especially that the market today is still very weak and it might be lossing the money of investors if not properly invested.

I agreed with partially but you should also know most of this newbies are not really newbie reason being that most people av more than one bitcointalk account which gives them more chance and experience about d so call bitcoin. So those ones that prone a great threat to bitcoin are d new people that join bitcoin.

I think it is a wrong information.if you having proper knowledge about the bitcoin its not be dangerous for newbies.

Being newbie means you don't have enough knowledge to make a serious decision. There are a lot of new members in crypto community, because this sphere is new

I agree with you. And there is something I want to add. It's about topic titles. Issues that are irrelevant and weak in content. I find these issues unnecessary. It's just a link sharing issue. But looking into it, it's empty. I think they're doing it to earn merit.

Well is it dangerous for them if they don't have any idea before they enter this kind of world where there's only few people who are knowledgeable enough to understand what is happening. So it wouldn't be dangerous for them if the know what is bitcoin all about and how it works also what kind of people will they meet here.  They should also be wise and responsible to shoulder their responsibilities.
So its better for them to study first all the things about bitcoin, for them to know what to do every time. Its normal for us humans to go in without getting more information about it, its just we manage to be successful because we are being trained by our risk taking. But it was better to study first by just going in without proper knowledge, because not every one of us and not every time we're lucky.

Like me Im just a newbie here in bitcoin so that I just defending all my moves on some experts so that I don't do some wrong move. But some it is not so helpful and make me do a wrong move. So that I learn something that all of them are right about what they have said. Now I research first before following it or do it. And Im the person that like asking to the expert before I do my next move. And I know that I need to learn more things and need more experience to become more better here in cryptoworld.
