I think ETH has much better potential than LTC personally, I think the demand for ETH hasnt been as high because ICO risk-taking hasnt been quite as present for a little while.
Not sure why though as there are many fantastic ones out there, a few i'm personally looking into are Daostack IO, Muirfield IP, and TIP Blockchain.

TIP Blockchain aims to create the most user-friendly and easy to use platform in the cryptocurrency economy, that connects businesses to end users, and removes the technical barriers that users face today when using cryptocurrency.

Daostack IO powers decentralized companies, funds and markets to make fast and innovative decisions at scale. Basically an operating system for collective intelligence.

Muirfield IP is an opportunistic private equity real estate investment firm leading the effort to reinvent and improve private equity investing through the use of blockchain technology.

I really wish more merchants and sites would adopt litecoin if only for the speed of transactions. Unfortunately there is just no demand.

My simple view is this... faucets are the entry point and if more enthusiasts could give litoshi we'd see greater demand.

there is demand but there is little demand for it that is why merchants are not so willing to add litecoin payment to their services. besides if any of the real merchants want to add an additional payment method to their service they will surely go for bitcoin first and not an altcoin unless they already have a bitcoin payment option.

Litecoin isn't really making a move right now I don't think. It's just pretty much moving sideways, 0.005-0.006 ish price level. Nothing of importance going on here.... Litecoin features that used to be superior to bitcoin now isn't. ASIC mining is possible with litecoin as well.

Im excited about litecoin if this coin will hit the price as expected by many.
As I observed right now seems litecoin is dump and okay to buy with.
Also hoping that the price of litecoin will pump up in the market.

Now that somehow can explain. But why now?
But we'll see I'm tied with the rest of the coin though. I can't risk withdrawing my investment for LTC but it could be a good time to buy since ltc is much cheaper this time.

Just look at how it was pumped last year which it almost reached $20 each without even a significant development to it. their forum disappear and then drop down to less than $10. if that ain't something to forget i don't know what else could convince investors to put money to it. the coin don't even have news this time. The Chinese may have forget about it as they now have ANTSHARE which is also suspicious enough.

technically both LTC/USD can rise and LTC/BTC can fall. If BTC is rising faster than LTC then LTC could very easily rise against the USD but fall against BTC. It will be funny if you both end up right in the end (though I'd never expect either of you to admit the other was right). =P

LTC will either pump on the next halving or when BTC transaction fees getting expensive. At the moment you should only hold it as backup coin.

Nah, I have shorted $200,000 worth of LTC on OkCoin 20x futures ($10k). Going to make some real dough soon Smiley.

BtcLtc dude is awful excited over the break of 0.006 in ltc/btc. Yes, it could fall, but you could also get ass reamed by a giant spike in price that forces you to get margin called. You'd be fine if you weren't leveraged 20:1 on a crypto-currency that has moved 100%+ in a single weekly candle multiple times in the past 5 years. A good trade can be ruined very fast due to over-leverage. (not that I actually believe for a second this trade exists in real terms)

Regardless, I'll be watching now to see how much he's made or how close he's come to the dreaded -80% margin call. It'd be funny if he turned out to be right but got margin called before he could actually be in the profits. Leverage can be a bitch.

Manipulated ?
I don't see that going on vs any other random coin.
On the contrary it seems awfully stable to me price wise.
You'd think tat would be a good thing for investors LOL
But nope i guess you guys look at coins with wild swings up & down..

Hey what do i know ? look at the charts and come to your own conclusions.

All i think is it's undervalued considering how high some other coins are or were before.

the market movement of LTC really is something not worth waiting.  i use to own considerable amount of it but you gotta cross your fingers if you  you will invest this time. it does look like this has been heavily manipulated. so if someone pumps it and you see you got ROI, its time to short and get out.

Is there a site or tool that you can use to easily create an overlay comparison of two coins?
Would be interested to see what LTC value looks like during the major swings in BTC price.

Look at the WIZ people.. Once again a big spike with BTC and yup LTC is going along for the ride with it.

EDIT:
Once again i will add that i have none.
I am simply pointing out how i think LTC is grossly undervalued etc.

Good LTC closing price for October would be $3.60. That would actually be very optimistic considering the huge crash that will come soon.

I don't recall hearing any bad news about Litecoin before.
The worst it's been through is a lack of popularity.
And why did that happen ?

Profiteers.

People jump from coin to coin and for a couple years that was only NEW coins !

People did not want to buy a BTC for $600 or an LTC for $30
They wanted another Scrypt or X11 clone that was worth 100th of a cent.
..for profit.

Litecoin is not guilty of doing anything wrong.. the scene is !

What were all those SCRYPT clones being made pumped out daily cloned from ?
Pretty much Litecoin..

I tested out a pool called www.ipominers.com (no it had no ICO or IPO coins on it)
But it was an auto coin switching pool like the one BigVern from Cryptsy made (and many others)
Point being.. is you put your hash power onto the algo.. say SCRYPT for example.
They did not have Tenebrix listed LOL
Nope it was today's new clone coin then the next day or two another..
And it ramped up so fast that i could not even get the min to get the coins off
before the pool dropped the coin and Bittrex delisted them.. they were running one hell of a massive cloning system.

And the father to it all was Litecoin i think.
It's design + popularity combined with Doge getting attention caused the clone fest.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

The reason why LTC is dropping is because BTC is going up. There is no bad news on LTC and other altcoins. Many altcoins are going now as BTC is increasing.
If you look closely at the fiat value of LTC, there is not much decrease. This BTC rise gives everyone a good chance to accumulate cheap coins.

But it's not.. when i posted this it was rising along with BTC.
Now when i look right now i see the same again.. BTC + LTC rising together.

i wish that litecoin is going to get pump too, but for now, i think the price is really slowly to gets up because when i see the polo market, the price is somewhere in 0.0060 btc - 0.0061 btc. i am not yet see that the price is getting pump for now. maybe in two or three days later i can see the fast movement for litecoin.
