I was never much into LTC, but I was expecting this trend.
There was that bet that litecoin will be listed or not at GDAX. This is one of the links https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/litecoin-developer-offers-a-10k-bet-to-a-ltc-troll-1588425
It was pushed to the headlines quite a lot. It made me expect that it's a too good campaign opportunity to miss it.
After it has built up nicely, now it's time to profit. Voilà.

It may be a well planned speculation, but Litecoin (and a few other coins too) really deserve(d) more attention really.

1. There is NO Litecoin trend.
2. I have nothing to do with Litecoin. I had quite a lot, but they remained in my investors's hands. That's a long story....

You've stated this before. Something like 18k LTC... if he's "your investor", then how does he have "your LTC"? Isn't that "his money"?
Is it too late to get more? You could probably stack up 1k+ before the next rally, right?

It was my project (i.e. starting a cryptocurrency business) and I worked for that LTC. Smiley But you're right, they were not "mine". Anyways... life goes on.

Please allow me to disagree.
I will give you just one more example. This thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1628501.0;topicseen
It is pretty strange to me that LTC was brought there into discussion (in the same way some start same type of threads about XMR, SDC, ZCASH and others).

Grin

It's like talking with our lead developer. Smiley Bitcointalk has nothing to do with that. Yes, there are a few more threads about Litecoin, but they didn't affected LTC's price. If we talk about trends of threads - then yes, I agree with that. But it is a deserved one.

it is nothing really, Litecoin has a lot of potential to go up and it will soon go up a lot.

there have been a lot of movement lately from a lot of investors to go in litecoin and they are even whales keeping the price down by fake dumping to accumulate more.

the news also is favorable to litecoin, shills or no shills it has risen a lot and it has risen big time so i expect another big rise in the future too.

That's a SHOCKING discovery! Litecoin is actually following Bitcoin's trend? WOW! I can smell my new Jordan's.

I agree with you litecoin is following bitcoin's trend for today, and the trend of litecoin is going up, if i looked from your candle stick and it is hard signal for more going up until the price become sideaway.

Convert --> bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc  Cheesy

..for now Wink

What would Moon mean ?
Good question.. not too sure and that is price speculation.
I believe there is a section for that so it may be better answered there.

I make bold claims.. who says i have to back them up ? ROFL  Grin

I see the market graphs though..
BTC and LTC are moving up together so maybe there is a trend with both ?
That use to be the case i think a couple years back.. anytime one moved up the other did too.
Back in late 2013..

I think what is fueling things is going back to the basics mentality brewing around here.
Winter is coming people !
Kids are back in school and Crypto will probably take a more reserved serious mature path for the next few months.

If i wanted to put some money down on some stability in Crypto i myself sure as hell would not be touching ICO crap coins.
I would be looking at the more old-school coins such as LTC or NAME or PPC or Prime or Grid Coin or even Quark.

Look at the last two years people.. ICO's
None have done anything and the top popular ones ended up a train wreck of drama & bullshit.
And the other million of them made 99.98% of them all have dropped below initial ICO price.
So i think you are all finally waking up to the realization that ICO's are stupid scammy unfair crap.

Think about it Satoshi wanted to ICO Bitcoin he would have made it that way.. but he didn't did he ?
Would have been the easier path to take and would have netted him far more coins i bet too.
Satoshi was trying to do the right thing.
Note: i bet Satoshi is more than 1 person.
I also bet some of those early guys wearing the Satoshi "hat" taking turns helping make it etc
Dumped long ago and needed / wanted more money later and are NOW the pricks behind the ICO bullshit like Ethereum.

That 2013 rise to 1k per BTC coin was i bet a factor in corruption.
Some of the good guys that started this back then probably turned ICO schemer later.
I base that on some random comments from super old school guys i have seen commenting on ICO scheme coins.

In a couple months it will be 2017.
Bitcoin will be roughly 8 years old i think.. fast approaching a decade !
It's time we move forward and i don't see "the ICO" as a fair alternative.. nor do i see any of them making a viable replacement for Bitcoin.

Trend = ICO coins down and.. Mined coins = up  Grin

Moon ? Be patient !

Not seeing it going up like to the moon though. what kind of stuff does LTC need to wake up?
I use to have about 40+ LTC but give it up since its not moving much. and its forum was gone already.

Well to the chicken with the horn..
Everybody likes a bit of dick in the ass on occasion Wink

@Spartak
I was thinking that a bit too.. i flipped from BTCe then to LTC/USD on "The Wiz"
And i seen spikes on both going up in tandem.

I also had to look at my calendar because i usually see more selling than buying close to end of the month.

Anyway i see a trend in crypto where the more newer users are finally giving the respect LTC earned & deserves.
I am not trying to tout it as the best coin etc.. just saying personally i think it's been deserving more for ages.

Plenty of coins out there so choose to support what ever you want people.
I just think since we have a top 10 on CoinMarketCap that LTC should have been in the list as it once was.
Take Doge for example.. how does that crappy clone coin with a high supply beat out LTC in market cap size ?
(i think Doge was no. 2 for a long time way back)

I see a Trend though.. and i think the price could be far higher.

LTC is a "currency" and it was not an ICO and it was one of the first etc.
So it has redeeming qualities.

Sadly i sold off all the LTC i had long ago.
I have none and will not be getting any either but i don't mind supporting the coin project.

You all had to have noticed some rumbling going on with a trend brewing around here.
I also have no interest in speculating about the price.. does not matter to me.
But upward movement is obviously a good sign..

looks like a new campagne started for litecoin...

while bitcoin is always the king, investor community seems pushing some altcoins in turns, sounds familiar with wallstreet pushing new IPOs in turns  Grin

A lot of people will be hoping that litecoin rises due to the sheer amount of people bag holding it, Any rises are obviously going to be manipulated just to let the largest bag holders dump. It would certainly be a dangerous time to buy into it.

i like LTC too.
i don't have BTC anymore.
just some alts and the rest of my "gambling" money is in LTC.
why should i hold BTC when LTC is faster and can be used almost like BTC?
If i need BTC then i sell LTC and use the BTC to buy stuff or pay for services.

The price is moving within its normal trading range. As much as I would like to see a return to the days of 0.05 BTC/LTC

I just randomly looked at Bitcoinwisdom and i seen a big green candle stick.. $3.91

What does this mean people ? hmmm ?

I also noticed some puppet accounts touting LTC as a "good coin" lately.
I agree i like LTC but it's blatant sock-puppet shilling hahahha
I also DO see the users here taking more of an interest in it.

I think myself there is not much choice around.
If i had to pick a coin to support i would probably go with Litecoin.
i can't stand 99% of them all.

Why ?

Past, Present and Future Adoption potential.

So we see a trend.. recently it was Ethereum then it was Steem and then somewhat Monero / Dash etc

NOW ? LITECOIN !

It deserves it.. it worked hard and never backed down.
It deserves to reclaim its #2 position behind Bitcoin.

So keep an eye on the markets guys.. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/ltcusd

LTC ==> MOON

I would be buying now if i had money.. i smell something brewing !

EDIT:
I did not mean for this to be a price speculation topic.
More of an observation of crypto trends (in my view)
