Where is my ring of blades...
I still don't think brexit is having any  effect on bitcoi.   Price is  still around about what it was  before brexi,   maybe even lower.  For people to use bitcoin to invest in they need to know about it and feel that its a safe be.   And at the momenti  just don't think with people are aware of bitcoin.

price will always start changing as soon as there is a news not after everything is done and dusted. and in this case the $100+ rise was started as soon as brexit news was released and there was a small speculation about bitcoin price. after price hit bitcointalk and everybody was talking about it, it was already too late and price has gone up already.

besides in my opinion the biggest effect that brextit had on bitcoin was the good news that is being spread about bitcoin because of it. and that is better than any price rise.

I can not see a connection between the UK and bitcoin.
And everything not connected to the UK is seen as safe and positive as it will not suffer under the unpredictional effects of the brexit.
Therefore the brexit might be good for bitcoin because the future of the uk economy is not seen to be a bright one.

It’s pretty well agreed that we’re now living in an economic crisis. It’s also pretty well agreed that most economists, especially so-called establishment economists, don’t know what to do about it. In this conditions real gold and BTC will shine for sure.

...

So far, Brexit has had very little effect on BTC price, at least that I can see.  BTC is down today a little, and has not changed much since early Friday morning (US ET) when the Brexit results came in.

This suggests that maybe BTC is not that great as a "Fear Trade".  To my knowledge, this is the first Big Financial Event to happen since BTC became famous (or at least since I started participating).  The next few days will be of interest watching BTC prices, especially if there is further turbulence in the financial markets worldwide.  CHINA just devalued, I just read that at Zero Hedge, their Premier Li said that there are already ripple effects on them re Brexit...

Gold has moved nicely since early AM Friday, including about $9.00 last I looked (Asian trading).

A good test of Bitcoin as a safe haven trade would be its change during the collapse of an entire country.  A candidate to watch would be Venezuela, that country is in deep scheisse now.

Brexit could be good for cryptocurrency because more people find other coins or assets to secure its money, it will depend on its national currency if it countinues loosing more people will be interested on bitcoins, but if the pound recovers they will forget.

If BREXIT damages the global economy, then all currencies will be impacted in a negative manner.  We have to remember that currencies are just means to exchange goods and services.  If there are interruptions in the ability of the people to produce goods or provide services then the currencies used to exchange those goods and services will also be affected.

I don't know if I'm in the good topics but does the Brexit of UK from Europe will have an impact an cryptocurrency ?

What's your opinion ?
Will we have in few days an UK coin, Walles coin ...

What good can we extract from this news for the cyptocurrency world ?
I do not know the impact of the Brexit on the price of Bitcoin, or other altcoins.
But what is certain is that there will be more investors in Bitcoin.
So, it is likely that the price will increase.

Bitcoin is not established enough to take advantage of uncertainty in other asset classes caused by the Brexit.
Right now those heading for safety will look to gold.

I guess it would be bad. The EU is one of the great economic power in the world. I am not quite sure when the English came out, I am sure of is has been somehow in many countries will decrease. as well as with cryptocurrency

Bitcoin was one of the few winners out of the U.K.'s vote to leave the European Union, surging as much as 13 percent as the decision fueled demand for alternative assets.

look brexit is very good for bitcoin the price jumping again.

Im surprise but maybe true,as UK is looking their form of instrument to invest. UK's exit on EU maybe favorable to them but not to EU.Hope their exit can shield them from crisis affecting other members.

yea.. but in fact this brexit can give bitcoin more power. i think this is the new era of economic global, we will see where the new era will come, hope the economic global growing as much as possible.

Well, yes, IMO Brexit is good for Bitcoin.  The more uncertainty as well as some news I read earlier about British tourists unable to convert their Pounds Sterling into Euros (in Greece) caught my attention.  But, BTC is not all that "liquid" in many countries.

My guess is that gold will be a big beneficiary of financial problems in Europe...

A lot of money was wiped off the value of shares and pound sterling. This means people are moving away from that currency, because it will be less relevant to trading in future. They are going to need new safe locations for their currency, especially if they think the pound will drop a lot more. That money they withdraw could flow into bitcoin, precious metals, bonds and many other places until markets start to settle.

I am surprized that the BREXIT causes so much variation in the british exchange. Shouldn't this possible outcome have been at least partially anticipated ?
If so the cotations wouldn't decrease this much ...
