64 bit GUI Wallet all synched no probs. Moved everything from the old wallet in to a new folder, started from scratch, worked first time.

Habeas is absolutely correct - there is a difference between constructive criticism and being an a-hole. Many are just here to see what rewards they can reap for free, and really don't care about the mission, the technology, or any of the elements that truly make crypto such an unbelievable place to be right now.

The infrastructure that goes into (properly) creating and maintaining a new coin is something that very few understand, and fewer still have experienced. I have had the great fortune to work with a few coin developers and helped them to bulletproof their networks. It's amazing how many people simply want to tear down someone else's hard work, be it technically or verbally. If you haven't ever spent the time to develop something like this, then who are you to flame the dev(s) on this project?

On another note, the new x64 Windows wallet worked perfect and got past the roadblock at block 4978 or 4979.

and other jibberish is NOT feedback and is not helpful

If you have issues with the wallet syncing, you may have to delete the contents of the wallet "AFTER" you backup the .wallet file
The reinstall Newton wallet and the blockchain will download from the start.

If you continue having problems with the blockchain syncing, you may have to change from the 64 bit to the 32 bit wallet version.

2. users experienced technical difficulties
3. dev(s) immediately began working to resolve the issues
4. dev(s) say that new wallet will be issued
5. new wallet issued
6. One problem solved, then issues with the blockchain.
7. issues with blockchain "seem" to be solved.
8. dev(s) say new wallet will be issued
9.  Latest wallet issued "TODAY"

10.  Immediately after wallet release, moron makes a post suggesting dev(s) make a post stating whether issues are resolved.

That takes a really special kind of stupid to make such a post.

Why don't you wait a few hours or even a day or so to see if any more issues pop up before making posts like this one.

Granted, the dev(s) or someone representing the dev(s) should make a statement.  But seeing as no one has, let me make a statement on their behalf.

hi, i have the wallet sync problem and i did what you suggest with the same result,it stop sync at 4979/6466.
it seems that there is an issue on the blockchain.
also it is mentioned below : time(UTC): 15mar2018, 18:08:19 Warning: last block was received 94hours 38minuts ago.

if you are on windows download gui wallet 32 bit, clean the cache (obviously backup your wallet) and try with it. for me it worked
