When bitcoin is pumped a number of altcoins have increased, although it can't be said to be maximal but we can see together that altcoin had recovered a few days.
Keep good coins, and good things will happen. Right now Btc and Eth and I would add Eos. Ltc is low, so could think on that too.
I think it is not possible to turn $1k to $5k within a couple of weeks especially now where majority of the altcoins are down because of rising bitcoin. Better wait for altcoin season if you really interested to invest in altcoins. As of now, only few altcoins are going up and they all strong alts whjch easily go with the present trend. Bitcoin is expected to reach another high so it is better to invest in that coin instead.
No one has a crystal ball so it's entirely impossible to tell which assets will appreciate in the coming weeks, but you could put together a well balanced portfolio consisting of Bitcoin and major alternatives avoiding any that might not be supported by exchanges in the US and it may perform well as the market matures
I don't think it's possible because seeing the current market situation is very sluggish, but if you follow the IEO in the binary exchanger it can happen
With btc price rising altcoins are falling and in last 1 months altcoins have just fallen only rather than rise. I think it requires some push and will rise much more quickly and multiple times in quick days only in coming time.
Bitcoin is alway the first option for me, for alts, mainly I suggest Ripple, Monero etc. I am keeping mainly to the top currencies that have already developed products and are working to expanding it rather than on the ICO’s that have solely and MVP. You can find my main 4 coins below:

in time sooner or later I am more optimistic if the altcoin must skyrocket immediately. I think it's time for altcoin to follow in the footsteps of bitcoin and can put itself in a good price position. it is the real altcoin
Well, it hope so but I've never think all of them, it only for those coins that have potential and aren't abandon by its creator. Knowing what altcoin will skyrocket, it can be hard to tell and nobody know about it for sure cause everything is still in a puzzle. It maybe one of the top 20 altcoins in the market will have that but can't point it out which one.

Very hard to predict, the best bet is to find coins that are unlikely to plummet, so stick with top 20 coins, whilst they may not rise as fast as really low cap coins, they wont drop as fast either so your 1000 shouldnt turn to 100 if there is a sudden drop over the next few weeks.

The point is, nobody can objectively just 5x their cash in 2 weeks anytime they want without doing things illegal. Otherwise every single person would do this all the time.

I would expect more on LTC compared to other altcoins. The LTC has had a surprising growth in recent months, we can see it. but I think now there will be more altcoins that are following market growth as soon as bitcoin starts the next pump.

I would expect more on LTC compared to other altcoins. The LTC has had a surprising growth in recent months, we can see it. but I think now there will be more altcoins that are following market growth as soon as bitcoin starts the next pump. 
For Op it is good to get involved into continuous trading based on trading signals provided by experts seems to be the right choice. Within fourteen days to get $1k to $5k needs a regular profit of $300 other than the capital fund of $1000. If the profit is achieved on day one then the next day the capital can be $1300, upon this it is achievable finding the altcoin that fluctuates regularly and has good trading volume.

Are you kidding, right? People like you is expecting too much of the crypto world like making millions in a single month. If that's how easy to make money then come to think of those whales investing millions turning them to billions real quick.
There's no such thing as a fast earner in every field of business, they were all doing the hard work to obtain the position what they are now.
no one knows what's the best next altcoin everyone is simply speculating about that you need to educate your self about the token dynamics before investing if you did'nt want to gamble in this market
It is very difficult to predict which coins will rocket, because the crypto trading character is full of speculators where they do not want to hold inconclusive coins on the market. This is possible on shitcoins but you have 5% chance that you can turn your 1k to 5k USD.
If you want to invest why not invest them all in high volume coins that listed on top 100 or stay holding bitcoin instead because the price of bitcoin is increasing every month.

There are no guarantees of assets appreciating by a larger value in the current market as alternatives are not all performing well just yet, but if they are better quality then take note of the projects that have upcoming events that might add value similar to trends by other comparable assets
you are right, everything depends on the project, community and market. we can judge a good project, but if it doesn't have good community and market support, it will also hinder the price growth.with a situation like this, choosing assets for trade and investment in the short and medium term might be better. choose those who have high trade.
