I heard that they again postponed the final decision on the ETF I think this is a good sign of its adoption since if the SEC did not need it, they closed the case long ago !

it's the 30 September VanEck / SolidX

30th is actually Sunday, does SEC really work on Sunday???
Making decisions on certain things does not necessarily matter what time of the week it is. Before then, a lot of deliberations would have been done a lot of reviews, a lot of discussions, before coming to a conclusion and it is this conclusion we will only get to know at this day.

So, being a Sunday does not matter and whatever the outcome end up as, we cannot say the kind of impact it would have yet until then, so patience is all we have now.
It doesn't matter if there's an office hours or operations. What we wanted to know when is the next meetup? Somebody told me that this month is very important something huge is coming in crypto space, hopefully they finalize it at the end of this month.

I think more precisely ETF and hopefully on 30 September the ETF is received and makes the price of bitcoin more expensive and makes everyone interested in using bitcoin Undecided
No need to start walking faster than our shadows, we have just few more days before then to know what the outcome would be like and how the space would take the news whichever way it comes, and then we will know if the ETF will have any serious impact or not.

Sure, in the long run, this might have an impact as we will get to see the possibilities of more money coming into the space, but at the same time, I still feel this will be suspended till next year.

Sunday means the banks will be closed that day, which could be a great timing if a group of whales wants to attack the price and change it daily before the banks open at Monday morning. I think Sunday will still be same result with a rejection however whales could use it as a speculative ways and try to FUD or FOMO with people and try to manipulate the markets in a way that would profit them.

Considering the fact that now with bitmex getting more famous and the short/long futures as well they can even leverage as well and improve their chances of making even more with the capital they have.

To tell u the truth I truly don't want to know much about the ETF applications or SEc meeting, we all know that after their series of declining the approval of BTC it is still trading and doing fine. BTC has to stay and not even  ETF and SEC can stop it.

What SEC meeting? The one about the remaining Bitcoin ETFs on September 30? If so, then they'll simply make a decision to approve or deny the VanEck ETF.

To note, the other ETFs were denied in part because of the vulnerability of the market to unknown manipulators. That hasn't changed since, so I wouldn't hold my breath for an approval. I don't see any Bitcoin ETFs being approved in the near future because of the nature of the market.

Other ETFs were denied in the past but the commission will stated that they will review them once again after reviewing their process and rules on judging ETFs. So I believe the other denied ETFs might still get a chance to be reviewed, it's only VanEck ETF that's still standing tall and i hope that might get approved.

Just a little update, it seems like people expect it to be delayed again:

Nothing is set in stone yet, but the process has definitely started.

Thank you for pointing that out though but there is nothing stopping business from running in Sundays. Government run around the clock as the stop of a major unit of government could be catastrophic and the committee would have known that September 30 would have been Sunday before setting to meet at the date and if there is need to shift the date, they will be the one to communicate.

SEC meetings would hold, they would decide and another one would still hold till forever. I wonder how people in crypto are now much more concerned with happenings related to the stock market than those people operating there themselves if not for the hope being expressed regarding ETF. Move on, if its approve, you hear it, if its not, you are not bothered at all. That's how simple it should be.

When? And what is on the agenda?

I think it would be great to have such topic to keep everybody informed about what is going on there
We all hope to see how well this plays out by the end of this month. If successful, we might be in for a good bull run in the cryptocurrency market. Let's hope it is positive for us.

Etf have a chance to be approved cause we got new sec commisioner that pro cryptocurrency. Even though it will be postponed it will definetly and eventually be approved.
if this new SEC commisioner could bring good wind for crypto community especially correlated with etf approval , bitcoin price and cryptocurrency could recovered again.

Lets get over with it. SEC is useless and we should not be focusing on them. If everyone keeps thinking about the SEC then surely crypto will come down out of the fear. Yes, because people are either not making their investment into it because they are having fear of loosing the money if they invest in such stressed out situation. But they shouldn't be thinking about it as this is the decentralised world and it all depends on us, the people! So just forget about the SEC guys and focus more onto the crypto currency investment.

I believe the next verdict we expect from the outcome of the SEC's meeting will be on the 30th of September of this year. Another question I did love to ask in regards to the ETF's help in restoring the cryptocurrency market is that, "to which level/extent will the market be restored to?
