Quick update everyone:


Nexus network was attacked recently which is why the wallets are down on Bittrex and Cryptopia.  If you are in our Slack group, you would know that Nexus team was successful in fending off this attack to the chain and prevented double spending.  We are working to bring exchange wallets back online.  These early attacks on the network are good for Nexus, as it strengthens the network and helps us close any attack vectors.  Nexus has been under heavy attack since the beginning, but it has escalated intensely over last few months.

Please check here to make sure you are on the correct block height: http://nexusoft.io/platform/

Using the Nexus-QT, go to Help --> Debug Console to see which block your wallet is on.

If your wallet forked off the main chain during the attack, you can fix this fairly easily.  


On Windows, make sure you can see Hidden Items (or Hidden Files/Folders) in your Windows Explorer

Then go to C: --> Users --> (PC Username) --> AppData --> Roaming --> Nexus

1.  Backup wallet.dat by copying it to another folder
2.  Backup any Nexus.conf files you have IF you are mining (you probably won't have any config files if you are not mining)
3.  Then Delete everything EXCEPT your wallet.dat and any config files
4.  Download the blockchain bootstrap here if you don't want to redownload the whole chain from peers: http://nexusminingpool.com/downloads/blockchain.rar
5.  Unpack the database files into the Nexus folder
6.  Now run the Nexus-QT.exe client again
7.  Wait for wallet to load (can take ~20 mins to load database)
8.  After that, go to Help --> Debug Window --> Console, and type: repairwallet
9.  You should see your correct balance once the next block propagates

Onward, and forward.  There is a HUGE update coming soon from Colin with the new Lower Level Database (LLD) and some updates to Trust Key expiration as well.  Stay tuned for that update in next couple weeks.  We plan to have binaries for Windows, Mac, Linux on that next update as well.

After a lot of DDOs attack and multiple vector attack we found and solved some bug.
Viz fix it, big thanks Viz (we don't found any manipulation on pool balance)

Now Nexus will have a better Networks without windows Node (Windows server is just a joke, but I started my personnal node with it, 2 year ago)

Hi, the pool miners pay out based on balance with the highest balances being paid first.  Typically these seem to be around 4-5 NXS.

Hello miners....I mined and 0.78 nxs and I have not received payment.
There are few days in balance.
Can someone help me?

We are very pleased to announce that the Nexus rebrand from the NIRO ticker and currency name to Nexus and NXS is now complete!

The process has been ongoing over the past couple of months as we secured the www.nexusearth.com domain, changed the Slack channel, released the new website, updated the Bitcointalk Original Post, renamed the Facebook group and page, renamed the Twitter handle, opened a new Reddit page, created a new IRC, had Cryptopia change the ticker, and had Coinmarketcap update our information.

We feel this change and transition better identifies with the Nexus Project as a whole.

You either need to unlock ur wallet for minting only, or u have not allowed the IP address of ur mining rig in the nexus.conf file. Its a security feature, new in 2.0.5 release.

In your nexus.conf add the following lines.

llpallowip=127.0.0.1:9325
mining=1
unified=1

u can specify wildcard for ip if u have multiple rigs mining across the network. The unified flag shares ur wallets unified time code with other wallets (not necessary, but advised).

Amounts are in satoshis!! so please divide by 1000000 to get fractional NXS amount

Apologies for the lack of web UI at the moment, but I am NOT a web UI developer!    I am building an appropriate API first so that we can skin it with a pretty UI later.

Mining directly with bittrex wallet has created problems earlier. So, its better to use your home wallet..

Can i mine directly to Bittrex address??
