The text above is from Nexus' long-term community troll "Jabar", who operates under 1000 different names to fud Nexus...

To reply about the "nothing being delivered" point:

There are great Devs working for Nexus, one of the latest new ones for example:
Dino Farinacci, ex CISCO engineer and main developer of LISP.
LISP, which is also integrated in the Tritium update.

Tritium is already live on the testnet, the mainnet is very close.
So the Tritium code is already viewable on Github.
It's a shitload of code, in march alone have been added 68,000 lines:
https://nexusearth.com/nexus_news/

They do provide updates in a monthly newsletter.
Also in a weekly Zoom dev-meeting.

I don't know about any other project which delivers as much as Nexus does,
as far as development goes.

What they fail to deliver is hype, and shady marketing like Justin Sun does.

Their marketing efforts will increase with the release of the Tritium mainnet, since it makes
way more sense to wait for this great product.

Nexus Blockchain is completely new coded from the ground-up, not stolen from anything.
Not a fork of any other coin.
To say that they are not delivering anything is just completely false, just like the rest of his post
is, or half-truths.
well...iexec RLC is ayear ahead of roadmap and has workable product with a dapps shop...ICO april 2017

Are there planned features on the main page that have been realized?
where can I get the most up-to-date news?
I've been off for about a year, then getting this coin has dropped by around 80%

Folks, could anyone help me to find out info regarding network consensus in the upcoming Tritium update. Will NXS stay with three types of consensys; pos+pow(gpu)+pow(cpu)? Where I can find details about NXS emission after Tritium update?
Thanks

It is never nice to see the price fall over 90% of your investment, but it is almost useless to blame the team for this reason ..... in the last 15 months almost every coin in CMC has fallen over 90% (also Eth also if he has now recovered).

Meanwhile we are waiting for the launch of the wallet satellite TRITIUM is officially released and quickly synchronizes the blockchain in less than an hour.

2019 Guide To NEXUS

This is to save everyone time.

Don't bother asking the same questions over and over - read this!

When will the satellite launch?

Probably not this year. When people ask they are told to "watch the Vector launch schedule" even though the team set a projected date of March 2019. The main man at VECTOR is literally the lead dev of NEXUS father - but they have no idea when the satellite will launch.

Why is the price so low?

Nexus is not meant to make you rich.  It's supposed to change the world even though it's ranked 168 on coinmarketcap.com after being in existence for around 4 years. Anyone who expects a crypto project to actually make money is now referred to as "lambo boi" by NEXUS moderators.

When will TRITIUM be ready?

Again, probably not this year.  It was promised last year, then promised by the end of January. We've had a testnet for months now. No word on actually being able to download a simple installer and use it.

Why no marketing?

They say marketing to companies is happening behind the scenes. This means lead developer Colin flies around the world to drink with people. Name recognition type of marketing is supposed to come from "the community" - but there is hardly any "community" since this coin has been such a failure for the past year.

Why has the price fallen from $14-$15 to barely 40 cents?

Because nothing has been delivered except false promises and constant personnel changes that make no sense. When anyone mentions this the NEXUS fans will point to BITCOIN as if Nexus is anywhere near the same idea as BITCOIN. Or they will whine about "the bear market." "The bear market" does not explain falling way out of the top 100 coins to almost out of the top 200. But that's what they'll point to.

Is NEXUS a cult?

I'll quote someone on REDDIT:

"Anytime a project continually overpromises and under-delivers... it’s usually a sign of bigger issues within the organization. No satellite launch in March either, but that’s because of Vector, not them. So why promise March? 🤔 me thinks it’s because they need funding and need people like you to keep buying into their promises...

Ask yourself this... What has Nexus actually produced? What promise and timeline have they fulfilled?"

Crypto looks like it is about to blow up again. Do you want to "change the world" with Nexus?  Or do you want to be rich?

When Nexus team continues to lie to the world about deadlines do you want to be involved?

FROM Careless2crows:

"We know how coins rise to the top, even if other coins have better implementations. ETH was top coin, even though there were plenty of other projects that were more efficient, more secure, blah blah blah. Yet ETH still won as the chosen shitcoin for smart contracts & ICOs despite the bottlenecks and issues. They could get away with those problems because they had billions of dollars in investment from venture capital propping up their interest.

I say that to say this. Small coins/projects can't get away with that. No matter what Nexus does. Tritium, lisp, quantum resistance, satellites, etc. There are other coins with working products, that are not plagued with broken promises, sketchy bookkeeping, forks, monopoly of 1/3 of the mining.

There are projects that might not have a few "features of Nexus", but they have professional development, road maps, updates, marketing, proper funding reserves to be self sustainable. They might not have feature XYZ, but literally neither does Nexus! Nexus has goals to reach / lofty visions for feature XYZ... But never had them.

Meanwhile the competition already has privacy options, smart contacts, token creation, blazing fast transaction speed, DEXs, Nodes in space, blah blah blah....
The competition has moved on. Projects are so far passed Nexus they are lapping them.

Projects are so far passed Nexus they are now dedicating time and dev resources to creating cross chain atomic swap and cross chain inter-operability protocols and alliances. By definition, literally creating a nexus of blockchains. Some poetic sick irony, Nexus isn't even involved with.

Nexus is the kid sitting alone in the corner eating paste, while the other kids are learning how to work together.

Colin and the team should be ashamed of themselves for everything that's transpired. Sugar coat it all they want with labeling them "phases" of Nexus or whatever bullshit to sidestep responsibility.

Fool me once, right? I'll take responsibility for myself that I drank the Kool aid and lied to myself. Wanted to believe that the community was strong enough to help the vision stay alive thru all the broken promises, forks, bugs, exploits, marketing / staff snakes theives & scammers, etc.

EDIT:
I am done with Nexus.

(Is that better?)"

Over 1 year, there are not any price pumping of NXS. Investors may wait for 2 years more... !
Not easy to earn very very tiny profits from Nexus.

Nexus price is going up! Are they planning to launch this month?

First time poster, long time lurker.

I don't know about launching but something is working. I started buying last July just before the big slide. Then I attended the conference and began investing and watching the profile again slide after event. But i'd heard enough to stick with it and pounded a few more bucks when it was around $.25 .

Since that low point there's been a steady climb so now I'm pretty much even and looking for it to soar as things change. This is not a short game but rather a long hold.

Oh so this is just some bshit from wikipedia.

The company is also investing in software capabilities. It has a platform called Galactic Sky, located in San Jose, California, which makes software-defined satellites to provide start-ups and entrepreneurs with satellite capabilities.[13][14] In 2017, it signed a letter of intent to collaborate with a cryptocurrency company, called Nexus, that is attempting to develop a satellite-supported currency exchange system.[15] In 2016 York Space Systems signed a $60 million launch deal with Vector, to launch six satellites into orbit.[16]

Maybe Jim doesn´t promote Nexus, why should he.

On Telegram it was said:

"I hope everyone is aware that the several references to the US Treasury that have been posted are in regards to a JOKE posted by Jim Cantrell last week after he met with Sec Commerce Ross. None of it is real."

Obviously it's not real.

Jim Cantrell doesn't promote Nexus.  Not on television appearances or anywhere else.

Great "partnership."

Hi,

Just wondering.
Does anyone know of a working "Prime" pool.

I'd like to get into the cpu mining, but...as far as I can tell according to "https://nexplorer.io/mining", the current cpu hash is at a staggering 15Gp/s, well a Ryzen 1700 gets about 500pps flat out, so unless I am wrong there are the equivalent of 100,000 Ryzen cpus hashing at the mo.
Seems a little excessive, and certainly means less than zero chance of solo mining. (Are these figures right? Does someone have a secret gpu miner for the cpu channel? if so, will the new wallet fix this?)

Also, half the links now seem dead, for pools and miners, etc Is it time to start a fresh with a new thread?

So if anyone can point me to a decent pool, and cpu miner, i'd be very grateful.

J

If you believe satellites are launching in March I have a bridge to sell you.  And the gutless "leaders" won't admit it's not happening.  Colin will just blame daddy (Vector) when it doesn't happen.

Satellite launches can't be easy to pull off. Look how often Elon Musk has postponed his deadlines. It will happen either way some day.
