Thanks to the Steelers laying an egg at home and losing to the Jags, I am knocked out. Good Luck to all those left in their pools.

Well, I showed my extreme incompetence at NFL with my maiden entry into any sort of Survivor Pool comp when I crashed out at the 2nd Week. Can't even remember the team I picked (but I chose another underdog then). Checking on BitcoinRush, seems like just 73 players are left, so I guess we won't see a winner for at least 5 more weeks. Can't see stats for the paid pools, but I recall every pool lost more than half players due to the Opening Week upset.

My rather random pick for this week would be the Bengals to win at home.

690 runners left in the NitrogenSports free pool. I have the Pittsburgh Steelers locked in as my pick this week. Hopefully they can hold it down for me at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. should be an interesting game with the two teams both looking to keep the lead in their respective divisions.

Another topsy-turvy NFL weekend filled with enough surprise upsets to screw up many people's survivor picks. Thankfully, the Seattle Seahawks lit up the scoreboard with 46 points at home to beat the Indianapolis Colts and keep me alive.

Indy was looking good there for a little while

That last second field goal..

NFL has the most variance. From week to week, we get a clearer and clearer picture of the skill sets on each team, but the sheer variance of a 60 minute football game makes it so anything can happen.

Models and predictions surrounding the NFL are the least accurate. MLB baseball is down to a science, while NFL still seems to have some art to it.

Tonight's game we have Indy. Despite the terrible nature of the squad, the odds being offered on Indy were just too good to pass up. One can't expect to win this bet more than 1 in 4 times, but when offered 6-to-1 on the proposition, the smart money says to fire away.

Well the vikings lost that detroit defense was too strong i'm already out of my last pool. It was a bad run for me I should've spread my picks wider than focusing it all on one favored team. Couple of upsets happening right now pats, falcons, cowboys. Expect more people will be taken out of the pool because of this.

Sweating this New England finish...  Huh

I have 2 pools left, this week I went with Bucaneers and Jaguars. I dont like NYG on the road, I dont like them as all, untill they can show they have gotten things together. Jets won at home, played the best game that they have in a while, regression is a bitch, I think jags defense will be too much for them, I like the under in that game too.
Picking the jags is a bit scary when looking at the head to head history against the Jets. The last time they won against Jets is way back 2009. I still think jags are more likely to win though.

My pick today is Vikings they have an avg score of 30 at home and doesn't let the opposing team score more than 20. Don't know much about the players so i'm basing my picks on stats.

For me, I will be betting Monday night game of chiefs vs the redskins. Kansas City is on fire this year, not only is the defense still playing well but the offense has showed up with some big play makers. I'll take Kc -7

Starting to like the Steelers more as Antonio Brown's predictions have risen all week.  Projected at over 100 yards now on multiple models.

By the same logic Dallas is in for a big day from Elliot, over 100 yards projected for him on multiple models as well.

When looking at the fantasy data for the weekend, one model has Ezekiel Elliot with 22 carries for 101 yards. We just have to like Dallas with him projected to give them that kind of a boost.

Steelers also look like a play with Antonio Brown projected to go off for 7.2 catches and 98 yards. We have a model with him getting a carry and averaging 3 rushing yards as well Tongue

Similar play with Cincinnati & AJ Green modeled to top 100 yards.

It appears as though around 700 or so people got knocked out of the NitrogenSports free pool as a result of the topsy-turvy NFL Week 3. Still not sure who I will pick this week. A lot of the match ups look iffy.
That's huge, maybe they picked panthers to win no one expected them to lose like that. On the reddit free pool only 50+ people where listed out from the pool reducing the participants from 200+ to 150+ users.

The lucky ones are those who are still alive on the bitcointalk pool only 7 of them remain now.

One survivor model we follow has the Seahawks as the pick this week. Following around the hapless Indianapolis Colts isn't a bad strategy this year. Without Andrew Luck, they seem to be content to have a terrible season, grab a nice pick in the draft, and try again next year.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards taking Seattle Seahawks as my pick this week. Seattle is looking shaky, especially on offense. If this is how they are going to be through the rest of the season, picking them now when they play at home against a struggling Colts team is probably the best bet.
In my suggestion and views you are right somehow if i bet on Struggling Colts team then i know that i will win that so i will bet on struggling colts because they are looking in good and i know they will take the game.
