If you want to earn from NFT it's not easy because apart from good photos, the Community is also very important. even sometimes the community likes unique things even though it is very ugly and not artsy but they love NFT which is made on the basis of its uniqueness. In addition to being unique, some community members have made NFT their business facility by selling expensive and buying cheap, so if your NFT is cheap, there will be a lot of demand, but it must also be unique.
that's correct. The good master piece sometime is not attractive and buyers buys the piece which is not attractive at all.
They seem over smart to show off their different opinion.
But I read all the suggestions. Very good piece of advices by senior members.

If you currently have materials to trade in NFTs then the most important thing is that you have to register first at opensea, after you already have an account there then you must also have a wallet that is already connected to the polygon network so that later your NFT sales can be withdrawn easily, in fact in this case you have to read a lot of articles about NFTs to make it easy to do the purpose you want.

It would be better to just start your own photoshoot business to be honest. Due to how many NFT tokens are there right now, it might be hard for OP to standout amongst the crowd. I am not saying that the market is oversaturated though. There are just way many tokens out there right now and it might take a lot of years for the token to standout or possibly the opposite. If the OP is already an established self-taught photographer, that would suffice enough.

Now the value of tokens that are associated with famous photos or works of art is in question. Not that trend. The idea of NFT is a bit corrupted by speculators who saw it all as a scheme to pump up the price, giving the token artificial demand and rarity and thus trying to make money on it. The real idea of NFT is not yet realized the way it should be realized. When it does, perhaps there will be room for talented photographers to embody their work in these tokens and it will be truly valued and not seen only as potential speculation on name and fame.
Very nice pieces of advices for the beginners  in NFT, I was amazed to read the responses of the Sr Members.
This is very motivating and encouraging. Hope OP sorted out what to do. Is there any way one can show his/her NFT art here?

Does anyone have information on rate of trade on Binance NFT collection platform? Although the prices look considerately low compare to last year and expect improvement in valuation. The last period of sale was more on pictures but I expect videos, music and physical arts that can be transported to come into play soon. The over evaluation of NFTs caused the accusation of money laundering which also cant be defended

Hi - I am new in NFTs. But I am a self taught photographer. I have seen on Twitter that may photographers are selling their photos in NFT Community.
Can anyone help me how can I do that?
Consider me a naive in NFTs and online selling  - what would be the first step I will do?
Thanking in advance.

You can follow the instruction on this article

Summarizing the content of the article on creating and selling NFT:
1. Select an NFT Marketplace
2. Set Up a Digital Wallet
3. Create Your Collection
4. Creating Your Digital Arts Token
5. Listing Your Artwork For Sale
6. Promote Your Work On Social Media

Pretty much the article explains these steps, it also gives a brief introduction to NFT.

most people feel that the nfts space is overrated, that is hype. but some people are making a fortune out of it. not just photographers but also artists and gammers are also making it. but one should mint pictures into nft(nonfungible tokens) and upload them on the open sea. you can also create a project on social media like Twitter. make proper research about nfts, by making use of youtube videos.

Nft are the best for photographers and in game items, i hope in future every game will use this technology. Since you have full control over your creation, include selling, showing, trading, copyright. For me its smth like property rights in real life.
Not just photographers but also artists in different fields. The sad thing is why do we only choose to use it when the pandemic hits. It was there long ago, a great opportunity for every artists to make money without the use of a middleman. There's a heavy traffic now for photographers who want to make their art as NFT's. Investors are now looking for the most unique thing and that's difficult because you might end up not selling anything while using too much for your capital.

Let me inquire. Why did you decide to resort to using NFT for your photography work? What is it for you? Did you find out about NFT's hype and decide to take advantage of it like other artists and photographers who sell their works that are not always of artistic value for overprice?

It would be nice to see some of your work here to get an idea of your photography and subject matter.

Well this is one marketplace that you can sell your photography:

https://opensea.io/

Of course, create an account, then you will also need to have an ETH wallet to connect on your account.

Or better yet you can go here and read everything: https://support.opensea.io/hc/en-us/articles/360063498313-How-do-I-create-an-NFT-

Good luck though, it seems that the whole NFT craze right now is over rated, but who knows maybe someone will be interested on your photos.
Thank you so much - noted.
Thanks to everyone who responded on the thread.

I myself have made NFT from the photos I took myself. the steps are quite easy, just open opensea and connect your wallet. then upload your photos to be used as nft and then determine the supply or how many copies of each of your photos will be used as nft. for complete information, of course the friends above have explained beforehand.

I doubt it will help you in any way. Nowadays marketplaces are heavily littered with this kind of content, a lot of newbies are trying to tokenize their creativity and put it up for sale, but statistically 85% of such tokens are garbage and nobody needs them. The thing is that NFT has value if it is some recognizable project, but even such tokens have fallen in value lately. You can of course mint NFTs and put them on sale, but in the end you will find that you only spent money and earned nothing. First create a name and reputation for yourself as a photographer, and then try to tokenize your work, not the other way around.

But what majority of the NFT markers do - they buy their own NFT twice or thrice to show some transactions around their NFT so that it can generate some interest.
Whoa! I didn't know that! That's a good strategy that I never heard. Make it look valuable because someone is buying and selling it back and create your own demand. Slick! It could work.
Just to add for OP, you may also want to check the photographs being sold first to have a good idea of how it goes. You may try unique but there must be a more appealing photo and you need to try and look at the market on which are in demand. Good luck.

Head towards opensea platform and list your projects using polygon network for free. Then wait for the first sale to happen. That's pretty much you can do honestly. rest all depends on how the market looks at your photographs.
If I am not mistaken, the NFT minted in the polygon network can be sold only in opensea. Means it's not possible to offer selling it in other NFT marketplaces. It's less fee but limited.

But what majority of the NFT markers do - they buy their own NFT twice or thrice to show some transactions around their NFT so that it can generate some interest.
Lol Same method is used to launder dirty money.
I suggest him not to create fake trades however instead to promote his NFTs using social media and forums.

Yeaa it's going to be possible to mint it as an nft, selling it is another thing though. Choose a platform to sell your NFT first,  Opensea would be my recommendation, then identify how to register your NFT to their marketplace. I'd suggest marketing it to famous NFT groups or Photography enthusiasts to actually sell, it'd be rather helpful in letting people know about your photos being an NFT. You can try buying it yourself so as to "increase" demand about it, there isn't any rules for the selling of NFT's anyway.

I'm also a self taught amateur photographer and never actually thought about such possibility. I've never bothered with NFTs, I've got zero knowledge about them and would actually be interested in trying out my luck with a few decent photos of mine. Certainly, my expectations are quite low, but it's definitely worth a try, I guess.
