The first thing you have to do is mint your photo so that it becomes NFT. for tutorials on how to mint, you can search for it on Google, there are lots of tutorials there. After you request your photo to be NFT, then you can directly register it on various NFT marketplace sites, OpenSea for example.

I'm just saying the basics, FYI, if you're a fairly well-known artist, you'll find it easier to sell your NFT.

When you are an artist, you have a good advantage to mint NFTs because since you can draw portraits of human. It's definitely going to be an easy task for photographers. Opensea is a site where NFts are created and also exchange. Opensea is good and reliable for investors who are into NFTs development. Photographers can convert images into NFTs and trust me, it will generate profits for them since they are in possession of lots of images which can be convertable.
Thank you everyone for your responses - very very useful ideas shared, I am surely going to start it and I will keep asking for expert opinions. Thanks once again

There are lots of instructions on Youtube on how you can make your pictures NFT just do some search tagged with NFT creation.  You need to choose what blockchain you will use in creating an NFT image.  Once you have chosen the chain you need to have that chain's token to pay for the transaction in creating NFT.

Even in my country there is someone who is successful in NFT just by selling his selfies. If you ask whether a photographer can do business at NFT, of course you can. NFT is not just about art, sometimes memes, even games, and other utilities are also of value to NFT itself. But the NFT market is very random, no one knows if our NFT can be successful here, because even meme-only NFTs can be successful, but some NFTs look better like art and don't buy them much.
I have never heard about selling art online until recently and I was looking for some expert opinions. Thank you for you time and suggestion. Much appreciated!

A few days ago I was reading an interesting article, I encourage you to read this: https://www.jonnymelon.com/nft-photography-guide/
It describes how to go about it, what problems you will encounter, what are the advantages and costs of such a solution. If you have additional questions, you can contact the author of the text. Good luck!
Thank you so much - I will go through the article!

For some reason, NFTs still haven't sat well with me in terms of Investment also considering the few comments I have also read here too but this is not to put your interest down but it is just that unlike cryptocurrencies even if those can be argued about too but I too will hopefully need some rigorous convictions about NFTs investment.

Hi - I am new in NFTs. But I am a self taught photographer. I have seen on Twitter that may photographers are selling their photos in NFT Community.
Can anyone help me how can I do that?
Consider me a naive in NFTs and online selling  - what would be the first step I will do?
Thanking in advance.

You can sell your photos on OpenSea easily. I think that now there are many tutorials on selling NFT on Youtube and you can learn them easily.

You can create NFTs for free in the opensea like platforms so just get in there and upload the picture that you want to convert into NFT then yes you're done but finding the buyer is the real task which happens if someone who is famous listed their NFT but when someone who is an unknown person has to wait and wait forever for someone to buy it.

I have seen that article as well, and it does contain enormous information about the said topic. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to provide much input about this matter because I am only familiar with NFT but not when it is integrated with online selling and photography. I reckon that OP would be able to get something meaningful through the shared experience of those who have indulge with such.

Lol! Head towards opensea platform and list your projects using polygon network for free. Then wait for the first sale to happen. That's pretty much you can do honestly. rest all depends on how the market looks at your photographs.

But what majority of the NFT markers do - they buy their own NFT twice or thrice to show some transactions around their NFT so that it can generate some interest.

All the best for your NFT journey!
