Adding an example to my previous reply. This is a project I would like to see "rocket launch" "to the moon" when the next big BTC / crypto explosion happens in March.

NGOcoin:

   -merge mineable
   -fast transactions
   -transaction messaging
   -100,000,000,000 coins max
   -no premine
   -reward halving yearly
   -very fast diff adjustment
   -custom diff adjustment for the first three ( or six) months: high at the beginning, getting lower down to 0 diff in three (or six) months, then slowly rising again based on network strength By then enough NGOs know about NGOcoin and are ready to mine it like it was day one. The system is already running, plus they get the chance to be there when diff will be very low and the instamine happens. Just an idea.

Choosing NGOs for donations should be decided by as many people as possible. It should get to the point where it all happens automatically, as once it gets bigger more NGOs will act as hubs, mining and spreading it's use. In my opinion it would be cool at some point to implement these decisions using memorycoin.
