Not sure if this is going to get answered, but will Nicehash continue to work on the miner regardless of competition? I assume these updates are in spite of competitors such as EWBF, who offers very similar hashrate only it's not pool locked and has a 2% fee.

I still think Nicehash should release their miner with either a 2% fee or has to be used on their pool.

There already is a fee on Nicehash. Whenever you withdraw (well, its automatic anyway) they get a fee which is greater than the transaction fee and 2% combined.
For example, last payment for me was about 0.013 btc with a fee of about 40k sat.
I can justify 10k sat for transaction but the rest of it is mining fee pure and simple.

Here is what you will get soon (tomorrow?):

Stock GTX 1070 = 360 Sol/s @ 150 W
OC GTX 1070 (clock @ 2050, mem @ 4500) = 410 Sol/s @ 170 W
Efficient GTX 1070 (TDP 50%, mem @ 4500) = 330 Sol/s @ 95 W

i think you can tweak it with the PL to have better consumptionm because 360 150watt is far worse than the currently 320 sol 100 watt

can you try reducing the power limit?

My 1070 won't exceed 73% power so I get 333 sols/s

Do you believe you can push it even more? Smiley Maybe over 400 sols for the 1070?

Yep, latest version in development does more than 400 on overclocked 1070 with almost same power usage. But still trying some tricks before we do any release.

So like +15%? Slow and steady winning the race...

Would it be possible to increase hashrate if power usage wasn't a factor or is low power usage compared to other algos just part of equihash? Efficiency is always a thing, but some of us have lower power costs then others and I'd rather have a 1070 running at full TDP then be more efficient and produce less hash.

Perhaps a low power and high power mode for the miner?

Can you give some beta release before the price go down again ?

kill the ATI abomination!

still waiting for other troll in the clymore thread that will claim amd is faster, at 400+ sol, even a 470 with its cheap price is pointless against a 1070 with double the speed and same wattage

My various 1070s running +500 or +550 memory overclock and stock core clock are generally drawing about 140 watts each (per NVidia-SMI) on average.
Most of them pull around 330 sol/s but there are a couple as high as 345 and a couple down around 310 - seems to be system dependent, the slower cards are on low-end motherboards with ancient CPUs and low system RAM.

you can easily set 323 sol at 100watt, by just decrease the power limit at the minimum, which is far better than 350 at 140watt
