Could it be because of corruption or bad governance that could inspired the northan Nigeria children to laid curse on president Bola Ahmed Tinubu?
Sincerely speaking, it's so dishearten to see that the children of a nation that are believed to be the leaders of tomorrow to feel so betray by their leader to the extend of laying curse on their president. Going by the present scenery of hardship, hunger and adjected poverty in Nigeria I think the reason of laying curse on Nigeria president by nothern Nigeria children is somehow justifiable because what country right now is as result government policies and incompetent corrupt leaders that have held the country captive for their selfish interest.

Another Nigerians out here thinking that it is only the northern part of the country that do lay a curse on their president. If I can remember, this is a democratic rule in Nigeria, and from its inception and also in other part of the world, all citizens unhappiness about the state of their country will eventually lead to curses on their leader and still hoping that things get better. The difficult state of the nation is affecting all part of the country and not just one part, it only differs on the intensity on which it’s affecting each part. Let’s not think that the country is being cursed because of what citizens utter out of their mouths as a result of unpleasant outcome of living. For every hardship comes ease, and with this believe, hopefully things will work out for the better and won’t remember this days of hardships the country is currently witnessing.

I think it is a general something and not just the Northern children or youths.
Nigerians are used to social media cruise and banter, they usually take everything for granted and always use cruise to react to some reactions instead of being angry.

The Nigerian government are selfish, they are not ready to make things work for the citizens. The hardship is much and the government is yet to do anything that will make life easier, instead things are getting worse as inflation is becoming high.
The president is used to such cruise and that’s why they are not taking any action about that.

OP the title of your post is misleading because children didn't curse the Nigerian President, it was just a child. I am not sure you watched the video of the Nigerian child debating on mandatory voting. The pupil was just saying what he crammed and nothing more. Maybe a teacher just taught him what to and he just showcased it in a debate in front of teachers and his fellow pupil.

Causing the president is a punishable offence in some countries that could lead to imprisonment in some undemocratic nation. I blame the teacher for putting such harsh words in the mouth of a student. In the debate, the student even said that he wished thunder would kill politicians including the president. You don't teach a child to insult anybody even in the face of adversity.

I don't wish the president dead but he deserves to be impeached because he has brought suffering and untold hardship to the people of Nigeria.

What I have learned is politics is not for the weak. If you are going to take everything personally then you must not be in position.

Being in the government means serving the people and the nation. In short, you are simply an instrument to carry out necessary reforms and policies to make the nation the best as it can be for its citizens. Any criticism must be void of personal matters and as a president, you must take it as so.

Try not to hide the caused of why those kids layed curses in Mr Tinubu the Nigerian president, it's all because there's a high hardship of living in the country which is becoming unbearable with some people here in the country. The kids despites the fact that they're still tendered and ought to be less concerned about governances has been attracted to questions their parents and guardians about how they're unable to provide foods and or essential needs for them anymore as usual and they where responded that it's because of the current State of governance system lead by the Mr President Tinubu.
It was a call for crying out loud and the kids got no weapon to unleash to the situation other than laying curses. That's all that they could utter their feelings to justify their emotions. It's absolutely a heartbreakening.
Meanwhile it should be noted that it wasn't only Tinubu that has been at the lines of being cursed by the citizens but also some other past presidents such as Buhari that handed over this hardship government to Tinubu and Tinubu consciencelessly maybe came up with the Buhari Pro Max.

Governance is all about achieving the set goals of an establishment by the right mobilizations of the available resources. Whether corporate governance or public governance, a major challenge is the provision of satisfaction to all and sundry. But, it's difficult to get this in the government spheres.
Therefore, the use of curses on a seating President is never a criteria in a democratic setting, rather such grievance should be channeled through elections. On this note, the President could be voted out of office during elections.

That president be like "who cares?"

It is not possible to satisfy everyone under the governance so don't feel bad if someone is doing everything as possible and still criticised for their actions.

Talking about Nigeria, it's known fact that government literally don't give a shit about their people and they use the power of money at the time of election so when we expect things to change then we also have to contribute for it.
