Edit seems to have fixed up after I logged in via my mobile phone I can now access the website itself all over again but I was def IP banned for a bit cause I could access the website via a proxy but not via a direct IP from my laptop. Still kinda upset with the rules on this one though when I have enjoyed this site in the past and recommended it to many but I don't know anymore. Actually now its stopped working for my chrome browser again as I am typing this. No idea what is wrong with the site or if they are blocking me since this is the first time its happened and coincidentally it was when I raised a ticket.
So here is my case:
On December 2nd I placed my bets and quickly found out that they had a 1 BTC limit per bet but I read that You can contact support and they can do custom bets so I figured for now I could go in and pick my team that I personally love and graduated from Clemson and place at -5.5, -5, -4.5 and the ML with my 4 BTC. I then thought if I opened up a ticket right away and requested it be changed to 4 BTC on the -5.5 odds that would be understandable. I did not hesitate between entering the bet and reaching out to support but they were adamant since I confirmed a bet it can not be adjusted in any way (yet if they go back and see later in a sports bet the odds were leaning poorly one way void all bets regardless so they do sometimes change if it could hurt site profitability in anyway). Note even at this point the bitcoins transferred were still at 0 confirmations and not even in the site yet they still would do no adjusting for me yet they did not even have my currency in their account at the time, I even thought if I talked more with them they might see my case and consider adjustments cause honestly at this point I could have spent over the unconfirmed transaction and orphaned it completly preventing that transaction deposit in the first place but it was to no avail.
And then just seeing the odds as we get closer to the game they keep getting more and more favorable to where my current lineup is such a sham to what other betters would get if they place now and use that nice 4 btc limit nitrogen finally introduced set on -5.5. It just makes me a little disgusted that the site would rip off an early depositor rather than give more favorable odds and return a few extra days before a match. I believe I have learned my lesson since they refuse to consider adjusting this special case.
So you made bets and then wanted to take those bets back? No book would allow you to do that ever.
Not take those bets back. I wanted them to take my bets and aggregate the 4 btc I was trying to spend on -5.5 only. I thought if I requested it right away they would allow it because its not like I was trying to take the bets back or get better odds but rather put them all on the odds I wanted. For some reason they limit it at 1 early and punish people that want to place their bets earlier and then only a day or two before the game do they bump it up to four? So I had to pick things like ML, -5, -4.5 along with my -5.5 at the time because they had not increased the limit yet. It refers to this:
"Typically, limits will get raised closer to the start time; check back before the event starts for higher limits. If limits before start time are still not as high as you would like then let us know by creating a support ticket (with all details like sport, league and wager type)! We will take your ticket into consideration when deciding on which sports and leagues to focus on raising our limits in the future."
I think Tuesday for a Saturday game is close enough you should see a higher limit than 1 BTC? I should have submitted my ticket first but I instead placed the bets thinking someone could easily go in and modify the table and delete the other rows to make my bet the -5.5 only(I am a programmer so I see sites from a database and data perspective). But whatever.
Yeah, you screwed up here. Would it have been nice if they had let you take back your mistake? Of course. But seriously no book would ever let you do that and for you to be so upset that you call it "a rip off" and threaten to scumbag them by double spending is an insane overreaction.
