XFL Week 3 betting preview and odds
Dallas Renegades (-5) vs. Seattle Dragons (+5)
The Renegades (1-1) finally broke into the win column by beating the Wildcats in Week 2, 25-18. The Renegades feature what’s rapidly becoming one of the best QB-RB tandem in the league, as Landry Jones and Cameron-Artis Payne are inside the top five in passing and rushing yards this season. The Dragons (1-1) also got their first win of the season in Week 2 by smashing the Vipers, 17-9, last Saturday. Jacques Patrick and De’Veon Smith proved to be too much for Tampa Bay, as the pair combined for 119 rushing yards.
New York Guardians (-9.5) vs. St. Louis BattleHawks (+9.5)
After blasting the Vipers in a 23-3 home win in Week 1, the Guardians (1-1) were shutout by the Defenders last Saturday in a 27-0 road loss. New York QB Matt McGloin could be benched for Marquise Williams after throwing two picks in Week 2. St. Louis (1-1) doesn't have as much trouble on offense, with dual-threat quarterback Jordan Ta’amu under center. Ta’amu is second in the XFL in passing yards and third in rushing.
