Gulden is now a very profitable coin to mine with Scrypt by miningpools. So almost all those coins are dumped on the market daily.
In 5 days Gulden will dump Scrypt and adopt a newly developed solo mining algorithm.
This will most certainly stop the flow of coins dumped on the market, since individuals mining are more likely to keep the coins to sell them later for better price and partly also they will be put into witness deposito’s not coming to market for years.
So this mining algo change could be the best happening to Gulden price for years.
The Gulden price has shown some signs of 'not going lower' since mid August 2019. This suggests that all the talk on this forum about pools and miners dumping is not having an effect on the price. When someone sells, someone else must buy. So in this thread people identify the sellers. Who are the buyers?

60-80 is the lowest, with more exchanges like most coins aim for the price would be going closer to 300-500 sat. Rijk wants a low price.

Without having to repeat myself for the 100th time, the reason Digibyte , GRS and Syscoin and other coins mentioned on this forum is ahead of Gulden is because of EXCHANGES. . It does look to be only the pools dumping at this stage when I look at bittrex sales.
This coin has larger problems if it can't sustain its price with so few coins mined daily. Digibyte is the almost the same price as this shit and over a million coins a mined a day. Over 12 billion coins mined already and you retards are blaming the scrypt miners. GTFO!!

Whatever block sigma starts at you have to add 101 blocks for mining blocks to mature and also add on the amount of confirms Bittrex requires. The last of the multipool dumps could be early hours on thursday morning.

I was also against it but it was explained that the team needs a income, none of the developers are rich enough that they can develop for free. Bart in slack said other developers who develop for Gulden can also get an income from the 40, it's Gulden board that wil control the 40NLG and how and when it's spent. The 40 will also be used for marketing which Rijk was never good with.
Most of the community on telegram say marketing and lack of exchanges is the reason the price is this low. On the Gulden slack they say because the pools dump all the time.

I watch a lot of alt progress and I finally believe Gulden is doing enough to make it different enough from bitcoin, litecoin and other alts with the combination of changes it has made. PoW2, SIGMA and HD wallets, the developers need to continue on this path to make Gulden different or it ultimately won't be a success. A lot of alts claim to be better than bitcoin but simply being a little faster will not be enough for people to switch from bitcoin.

You can mine EFL, we won't change from scrypt. We don't have much inflation but the price is low, if more miners supported us the price will go higher.
What block does SIGMA go live?
