I enjoyed The Rise And Rise Of Bitcoin the most. I have seen it 3 times already. I hope they will make a second part.

Yeah. I really like The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin. It is a very interesting film. I also like Bitcoin, The End of Money As We Know It. There are also a few others that are really good. You can find them here.

the movie did make some progress and i have to say it has achieve a lot when it is not backed with very huge budget. and do remember that is one of the first few movies about bitcoin so itself cant really attract too many people as a lot of them have no idea or no interest in something they dont know.

The only decent Bitcoin movie is The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin, but it is an independent movie and a very recent one, usually movies take some time to go to Netflix.

And I don't think there is such a demand for movies about BTC to make them hurry about it

I've heard of The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin being aired during airplanes flights, so for an independent production they did make quite the rounds. I wouldn't be surprised it they already offered it to Netflix.

Netflix is good as another source to get information on bitcoin, it can help reach some additional people. It should not be dismissed because it is already available on youtube or something.

I would love to see some bitcoin related stuff on netflix!

Netflix is not the first place where you go to search bitcoin related documentaries. Internet and mainly YouTube is.

I recommend Wired Money 2015 - Andreas M Antonopoulos - Bitcoin is the real disruptor

I was about to suggest this. Along with this, I also liked The Bitcoin Gospel

I remarkably love Bitcoin documentaries, I'd like to thank you for sharing that one to me. I just started watching it and was excited by the free 100 Euros, I'm sure it was up for grab long ago xD. I'm now at the part where the speaker of reinvent money is speaking about how the creators of fiat money are frauds.

Also, I was really hoping for the same thing, It'd be great if there were Bitcoin documentaries on Netflix, would be worthy to watch some of them with my family.

Why do we need it on NetFlix where only a selected few, will be able to access it? It is available for free or should be, on Youtube. The people who needs this the most, are the people who cannot afford Netflix. There has been a lot of discussions on this already, and you have posted this question for the second time. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/whats-the-best-bitcoin-film-1247175

Make all Bitcoin documentaries FREE!

A few selected.... please look up the paid subscribers of netflix, a few selected..... Especially young people are overrepresented in those stats, the people we need to reach Smiley

Not even a TED talk or dark web documentary in there somewhere?

The problem with Bitcoin documentaries is that it's all moving so fast that by the time something got to Netflix it would already be a relic. Maybe future docs should send the viewer here to catch up on events.

I searched "bitcoin" in Netflix and nothing came up...but their search funcyion is shit.

Netflix is crap, I'm not surprised. They rarely update anything with brand new films. Bitcoin will be way down their list of priorities, if they're even aware of it at all.

I'm realizing this too. They have nothing new, nothing edgy!

It's not a documentary but if we could stick Andreas Antonopoulos Canadian Senate hearing into the Netflix, this would be the best possible thing! This Senate hearing is 10 times more powerful than any documentary out there. Guy has literally blown them away!
I would love to make that happen aswell. Every bitcoiner needs to see that. It contains a lot of valuable information, that is explained in such way, that everybody can understand. Andreas is truly a legend when it comes to explaining bitcoin. But the main problem is that any average joe who knows nothing about bitcoin would close the window as soon as he saw the setting. Most if not all people who are not involved with bitcoin would find it utterly boring to watch.
The Canadian senate asks kind of dumb and straight forward questions, that normal every day people would ask. They even make jokes about themselves and it's quite humorous to watch.

I think they are trying to save on licensing fees. A lot of good movies have been replaced with crap. Since Bitcoin movies are typically low budget productions I would imaging Netflix would put them up if they were aware of them.

If they can have all those 420 and conspiracy theory documentaries I am sure they can have Bitcoin documentaries.
