Not to destroy your motivation though but you cant really blame nor stop people not to think up this way because as part of human nature we would normally react into things which isn't really feasible already.We do seek on much better option because we do see that we are currently experiencing difficulties on the current one and this is just like a btc to altcoin investment.Your choice though since its your money and time to engage into things but it isn't that bad enough on staying away specially on bounties which most of the time its becoming useless at the moment.There are truly some alts which are really worthy to invest on but this will matter on your risk management because too much positivity will just lead to high chance on losing investment instead.

Crypto offers a great opportunity to collect some money, but to be honest 2018 and 2019 are not the best years for crypto holders, because altcoins are at the bottom and it seems like they are going to stay there until BTC will reach at least 20k usd.

It's important not to do the opposite of all the rest like a blind stubborn man but recognize if it's worth it or not. Standing outside when it's raining because Buffet said to do the opposite of the majority is stupid.

But I doubt most people are going to leave yet. I believe some top altcoins will have better blockchains that will attract few more people to crypto/altcoin world. I think one of the biggest challenges of mass adoption is how to attract enough people with little support from governments. I guess the major altcoins developers will figure this out by then

Previous cycle in cryptocurrency do not have altcoin like the recent which limit the ability to predict the outcomes of altcoins. The scam and lack of use case of a large percentage of the coins will definitely hunt the space. There are arguments of possible outcomes of 2017 ICOs not to be good in the next bull runs, most bag holder are struggling to dump in the market at a bad price, more so, 2019 project have new technology to lure investors and well promising. They believed a lot of new ICOs must have learnt from the last cycle, get a better terms of partnership and be willing to get use case early.

Inexperienced traders keep repeating the same thinga like altcoins are not already useful and valuable, the situation is changeable such as every time. l'm also staying with altcoins like you, because l believe them and it doesn't depend on price of them. They don't understand, how is system working. The bull run event is incalculable, everything will change sooner or later. Instead of walking away on bounties they should choose again this way.

You said it all and it's really the truth. The problem is that most people are yet to understand the right way to invest or get associated with altcoins. Most buy coins because of hype or because someone told them to without taking time to study the coin to know if it's worth it or not.
Another point you made was weak people letting go, that's the truth, they did so last year and came back this year again; they will keep doing so.
As for me, I have taken my decision already, I will stick with altcoins but only those with a high chance of success.

With all the encouragement post above just remind yourself this, that we are here to make money and not to get passionate about any project, do lot me deceive you most of these projects would go to zero that is why it is better to ride the ride the bull market because shitcoins also pump but when the music ends it is better to reduce your risk to the barest minimum

Personally I don't see any other way without sticking with altcoin if you are already holder. Same as me, I bought few altcoin when prices was high, but unfortunately altcoin markets collapsed. So I am holding instead of trading now. Because who know when altcoin start bull run and Iwould miss it due to day trading. I believe anytime alts market could run like bitcoin. So sticking is better than sell right now.

After all these years, all I can do right now is do exactly the same as you. Get profit from it or get rekted by it completely, it does not make any sense right now to sell all of my holdings because the price is like a joke to me. It's down for more than 90%, what do you expect from 10%, it is nothing for me.
I just hope what we are looking for is not that far away.

i got nothing better to do as well. since i profit good during the last bullrun, i think i'd be staying with altcoins that has good potential for its use in the real world. it may take a long period of time of waiting for altcoins reason though but trading these new tokens in a platform is going to be challenging and fun at the same time. i manage to grow 80k tokens to 136K tokens though the value in USD is less than $500 its a good training for me.

Well, I heard that a lot too but it has nothing to do with altcoin, right? since Bitcoin always goes up no matter what while altcoins are bleeding and struggling so hard. Even if Bitcoin reaches or even pasts its ATH in the future, there is no guarantee altcoin will reach or get a pump because people will always choose the safest one.

History will tell whether your decision is courageous, or idiotic. I am done with altcoins and I have sold or converted most of my alts. Now 95% of my holdings are in the form of BTC/BCH. I lost hope with alts. Not because of the price crash, but due to the negative attitude of the developers. Altcoin development has come to a halt. Hardly any of these alts are being screened for bugs on a regular basis.
