All you have to do now is wait for the BTC to stabilize. It's time for a bull run because big moves don't happen every day. Several institutions, however, are also active in ALTS. We should be able to make a profit if we get through those ALTs.
I hope its not too late for some to get into alts, the altcoins season has already started, some altcoins have increase 50 to 100 times, and some even more, so imagine if the price will correct and we will be in the bear market. As an investor, we should be wise and always be open for all the possibilities so we don't just get into FOMO without another option to minimize the risk.

I don't really agree with your opinion, it looks very clear if bitcoin is experiencing a tremendous bullrun, but altcoins are not inferior to bitcoin, for example BNB, ETH, DOT, and many other altcoins that have increased up to 10x.

Obviously the market already tells us that the altcoins season is already here, BTC dominance rate is already down to 54%, we have seen it down that low before, it's because major altcoisn are growing specially BNB, so I conclude that we are in the altcoins season already.
Bitcoin dominance is still going down and now it is below 53% what it will be interesting to know is how low it could go, during the previous bull run we saw the bitcoin dominance dropping to the thirties, however I do not really see that happening now as the strength of institutional investors is simply too great and when we consider that they are really not interested in anything other than bitcoin then I do not see how altcoins are going to have any chance of lowering that dominance to those levels again.

This will be the biggest altcoin season if the Bitcoin dominance falls below its support. Current stats shows that we are in the peak of altcoin season.

As of now establishments, financial backers are as yet centering and directing every one of their assets in Bitcoin. However, altcoins are still moving forward. I sometimes notice that when the price of Bitcoin goes down, the price of Altcoins goes down, when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of Altcoins goes up. But billions of dollars are being invested in Altcoins.
The institutional investment is not just centered around bitcoin, i am pretty much sure that they are diversifying their assets in the top coins and then there are manipulators who wants to pump the coin which is taking the market to new levels we have not seen in a long time and look at the price of Doge coin as it rallied a crazy 300% in the past 24 hours which no one anticipated and so does BCH and BSV.

I'm glad to have this, and even despite the market manipulations, prices still moving freely up and down. What I observe since before, altcoins still relying on and following the trend of Bitcoin. We can see sometimes that the dominating percentage of Bitcoin drops but it never stays that short for long as it eventually backing up in a few days.

I'm looking forward to seeing the current momentum will stick until the end of this year but not sure if investors could still able to hold their coins and not tempted to sell them.

Message @Hhampuz if you are looking for a CM!
I think all altcoins also have the support of funds from every investor to move the price. altcoin price movements during this period were quite large compared to previous years.

Not really that large, you can verify it by comparing the dominante rate of bitcoin in the past bull run to the current. As of the current (https://coinmarketcap.com/) you can see that its still 51% dominant rate for bitcoin, last altcoin season it drop below that percent to 40% ror 3% range.

At the start of the bull run it seemed like bitcoin was going to get all the attention, but I guess we were all wrong, currently bitcoin is moving slowly while several altcoins having been causing some buzz in the market, bnb, trx, xrp and the rest, it feels like altcoin season have started already and I would also like to mention that bitcoin has dropped significantly, so the bull run is no longer about bitcoin anymore.
That is very noticing at first, the majority were pouring their money into Bitcoin but as it reaches the new ATH, they are looking for some gain potentials into altcoins. And apparently, they are not wrong with their decision, maybe some regrets neglecting to see it. But for those who start to accumulate them before the surge, they are much profitable now compared to Bitcoin.

Experience the Future of DeFi
I'm not buying this point at all, all big money are pouring into altcoins and yet BNB turned 300$, all whales favour bitcoin accepted but polkadot grows over 1100% gains already, are you seeing avalanche? Neo? Compound? Bro the list goes on and on, a 1000% gain is a altcoins season for me

I agree a 1,000% gains in most altcoins is definitely an altcoin season. As you may notice, Bitcoin’s price range play between USD58k to USD60k. With my observation, when Bitcoin stopped increasing significantly, that’s the time that other coins will start to increase massively.

We won't see a "year of the altcoins" for a very long time, at least not before bitcoin has reached one million.

Haha op was damn wrong when writing this in February. We must stop believing institutions are only interested in BTC. Moreover, even if it is undeniable that their impact on the market is powerful, they are not the only players.

Regarding altcoins, many are supported from their launch (or even their presale) by many (and powerful) investment funds.

that event occurred when many people would follow the hype or rally carried out by bitcoin. Altcoin momentum will be created when bitcoin's dominance in the market begins to stabilize and the price will not experience rapid changes. moments like that altcoin momentum can get a pump.
we have seen a lot of bitcoin pump events on the market. and it happened that some brought altcoins in the pump and some left them at the bottom. this is tied to the dominance of trading in the market.
Based on my observation bitcoins dominance made a huge gap to altcoin when this pandemic happens but if we were looking back to the time where cryptocurrency was still new bitcoin already leads the cryptomarket. But the good thing about the huge investors appreciation to bitcoin was altcoins also been appreciated but the impact of appreciation of altcoin was not like as what on the bitcoin. We haven't experience yet the year of altcoins but this year I guess was a good year for cryptocurrencies.

With the stratospheric rise of Bitcoin the altcoins should move big time as well.
But they do not and will not move, as all the institutional money is pouring into bitcoin.
We won't see a "year of the altcoins" for a very long time, at least not before bitcoin has reached one million.

you can see carefully and more clearly the market, it looks like you have to control the market now.
Don't you notice that a lot of altcoins like to have a big influence in the crypto world, they are worth and have a better price now.

This thread was posted last February, maybe altcoins has not pumped hard that time, but look at the top 10 altcoisn now, they are pumping and some of them have already made their new ATH and keep surpassing it. We ca also notice that BNB is close to $500 now and most likely $1000 is going to be easy as the bull run continues, so if there's no altcoin season, what we are witnessing now will not happen.

I think you are wrong, because in my opinion this is the year of cryptocurrency, so not only the price of Bitcoin increase very high, but the price of altcoin has also increase very high, because many altcoin have reached the new ATH price, so I think the price of altcoin is also moving like Bitcoin (increase very high) and I hope that the current market conditions will occur for a long time, so that we can get a lot of profit from investing in cryptocurrency.
But there is a very big difference between the kind of growth that we are seeing in altcoins and in bitcoin, the growth that we are seeing in the bitcoin market not only is very impressive but it is supported by huge corporations and rich individuals that are finally acknowledging that bitcoin is an asset that is going to be incredibly valuable in the future, but in the case of altcoins what we are seeing is nothing but hype and that hype cannot be sustained for the long term which means that sooner or later the altcoin market will crash.

I don't completely agree with what you said, the claims you make are as if you say altcoins don't have a bright future. Indeed there are thousands of altcoins circulating in the market, but we can't say all altcoins are trash. Take a look at how the skyrocketing prices of ETHEREUM, BNB, POLKADOT, LTC and some other DEFI coin.
You need to underline, when the BITCOIN price jumps up, Altcoins will also follow the flow of bitcoin movements. There is nothing wrong with investors putting all their money in bitcoin, but most investors have profit lot from Altcoins.
