Doh, I didn't realise there was a 4 hour wait as well as the 5 post thing until I signed up. I've spent way more time than that on this board in the last week.

I think I have never seen such restriction for noobs anywhere, however it's probably useful to keep other sections free of stupid questions 
These noobie threads allow us to practice our stupid questions and trolling before we get let out into the real world
