Always understand that the big investors in real market always buy when the price is fallen or already falling as the rise is always higher compared to low point rather than to start buying when btc is pumping. This is the mistake which many new people or even experience do it and then when it falls they keep cursing the btc or market.

Exactly. And this Wall St analyst is giving the exact opposite advice.

I personally think it is indeed not a good time to buy if you are looking for really short term investments. I think bitcoin will pullback a little before the next bull run, if we have a bull run. Long term however it does look like a good time to buy, really good news about nasdaq and the new york exchange.

well i am not a future teller but i know a lot about the past!
for example last year when price was $800-$900 and struggling to break the $1k resistance people were saying it is not a good time to buy and they were calling bitcoin a "bubble". then when price went to $1200 the "bubble talk" became even bigger and everyone was encouraging others not to buy. then price started shooting up to $2k and above...

not saying the same is going to happen here but remember that listening to others has never been fruitful when it comes to bitcoin.

This people whos keep on reading those "wall St." prediction or press releases should stop believing nor giving some glance,this guys talks only for their own benefits,they dont even know whats the truth but all they know is what would they gain after delivering some words

It's important to differentiate between the groups we have in this market.

The group consisting of short term traders are purely betting on a good outcome of their trades, where only time will tell whether or not it was a good time to buy.

The group consisting of long term investors has never really had much to complain about, especially if you just make sure you don't buy yourself into obvious bull runs like we had last year.

If you aren't a gambler, then focus on the long term and you'll prove all the naysayers wrong. If that's too boring for you, then accept the risks of your short term mindset and don't cry afterwards. This market can be extremely brutal from time to time, just be prepared for that. The thing with this market is that regardless of how low or high the price may seem, it can always go lower or higher; never take anything for granted when it comes to the short term market.

I dont agree with that. If you plan for the long term every time and any time is good to purchase bitcoin and other crypto that has merit. It is not worth to buy shitcoins that have no future...

So this expert really wants to tell potential investors that it is not time to buy now because price will go down possibly one day.He based this speculation on as he say two fundamental reasons.First he do not see many new investors in BTC and Google search for BTC/cryptocurrency is down by 90% from December last year.Do we need an expert from the Wall Street to tell us that?Most of those who are involved in crypto world knows that from months ago, so he is just inventing hot water.

I wouldn't say that it's not a good time to buy, especially if you are planning on holding for the long term anyways and treating bitcoin as a store of value. Prices are still considered to be cheap in my opinion under $10k.

It's just not the best time to buy, prices can be a lot cheaper than what it is right now.

Definitely not the most optimal time to buy considering that we have just came off a pretty bullish rally in recent days, and value of BTC essentially increased by around 50% in a short amount of time. There will always be a correction following that, and we're seeing that starting to happen right now with the $10k resistance being too strong for BTC to push through. There is a high likelihood BTC will retrace further before establishing a bottom.

Actually, I believe in the complete opposite. When there is no engagement, when everyone is talking it down, when everything is dull and future looks bleak, that's when it's a good time to buy. But that having been said, there is no bad time to buy, if you're a holder and are thinking about 5 years at least into the future. Of course we all want the best entries, but second best is buying 5 years before Bitcoin reaches 1 million dollars, right? Wink

we had a bull market last year then a huge bear market this year that lasted about 4 months and during that time price dropped nearly 70%. then this bear market also ended and now we are in between two market trends heading towards a bull market now.
with that said now is the best time to buy bitcoin. and there is nothing different about the risks of investing in bitcoin, it is still risky but you have a lower risk if you buy when the rise is coming.

Well and Thomas Lee, Analyst and lead figure at Fundstrat Global Advisors says that now is the to buy. He is having a pretty good track record regarding Bitcoin and is respected by many analysts and investors as well. Next week is Consensus conference in New York City. It will be much larger than last year. And as Lee, I could imagine to see some nice Bitcoin pump during and after the conference.

IMO now is not a good time to buy but it is still not a bad idea to do it now(since based on history, what people refer to as high prices now will be a low price in the future). So if you are planning to buy now, the best course of action you can take is to hold it until you have reached your desired amount of profit and rebuy again at a lower price(lower than your last exit point). That way you can multiply your bitcoins(but do not sell all of your portfolio if ever you plan to sell so that when it pumps, you stil got some coins to sell).

Questions like that are common even way back when I started entering the world of bitcoin. Back then $300 is a good target and considered as high price. But it breaks and the next target is $500. When price hits $500 many still on doubt because that price is considered as high back. And now... the rest is history.

It's clear that there is no price level we can considered as low price or high price because your gains will depend on how will you play it.

If a person truly believes that bitcoin will reached it's spectacular price in the future, then what matters here is accumulation. The goal is to acquired more bitcoins in order to take advantage of that "moon" price so disregard any price level if anyone wants to accumulate rather than to regret. Risky as it is but it's worth to put a shot.

Well said, bitcoin being speculative in nature most of the time the news rolling out makes an impact upon the growth of the bitcoin. Right now bitcoin is all about the users self interest, because people used to feel bad after going with someone's decision if market goes opposite to the suggestion from the particular person.
