Many countries seem to have a hard time defining and regulating Bitcoin. The current legal framework is not enough to deal with cryptocurrency revolution, thus most countries still have not considered Bitcoin to be an additional legal tender just like the function of their central bank issued fiat money.

However, the Bitcoin revolution is fast reaching the nooks and crannies of many countries all over the world, what with the use of the modern gadgets and the internet. Sooner or later, financial authorities have to come up with the necessary framework with which cryptocurrency can work with.

For now, let us just enjoy the "not yet legal but not banned" status which can anyway fine with me so I can still avoid paying taxes.

Indeed, Let's really enjoy the " not yet legal but not banned" status if your country did not stop us to used bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. Let we say in the future we really have many changes, in when it comes to technology there are more creation and discovery we will have in the future. Possible sooner we are using bitcoin legally but it depends on the government if they wanted to legalized it in their country but other country is starting to adapt it. As of now, i know Government thinking or discussing to do something about it because some of them are also believe to bitcoin but we need to going through a legal process.

As long as the government did not against to bitcoin just continue on what you are doing because it can really help you and it can also advertise so many ICO project to attract the investors.

Yes not yet legal because some countries are scared of the fact that it is unregulated. But some just ban it all the way because their country has always the history of closing new ideas and possibilities.

Agree, we should enjoy this benefits and should not waste this opportunity of earning Bitcoin without tax while  our countries are very busy of making draft of the regulation or our government were very busy of discussing of their stand of Bitcoin legality as once they will decide the future  of Bitcoin then we might end of regretting it as we have wasted many chances of earning Bitcoin freely.

"Not Yet Legal But Not Banned" that means it's called neutral position. It's definitely positive point for those people who used crypto currencies.Neutral means BTC transaction is legal i think.
Like in my country, the government in my country does not give any information to legalize or prohibit it. they just say that be careful
with investing in virtual money and all responsibilities are given to each person, so there is no prohibition here..

As long as you're doing legit to your local transactions, specially on local exchange on a certain country it's not a big deal to prohibit or legalize cryptocurrency. Because, like as what my country did towards local exchange it was already been affiliated with bank transaction and this is really a good business which will bring better impact to the country's economy.

Anyway I suppose that soon or later most of the countries will establish legal framework for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

I guess so, enjoying the moment for a while can be a good thing to do now since we don't have any idea when bitcoin would be legalize that means we will have something to do with taxes, or else, it would be banned that means we can't explore and invest on crypto. Let see the probability that will come and happen later on.

If there is no law saying its illegal then it is legal. What Bitcoin is missing out in most countries is the regulation of it. Therefore, if it can be regularize, it can be use for payment transaction, and can be taxed.

you are right. there should be a law expressly written that using bitcoin is illegal otherwise, using bitcoin is really a legal one. It is a good thing that it will be regulated by the government but not the whole part of bitcoin because it will defeat its purpose of financial independence.

Indeed but i think there are only few fortunate countries that not legal but not ban status so i guess the people should not miss the opportunity of earning Bitcoin without tax as the current progress shows that many countries are now regulating and legalized Bitcoin but only few of them imposing free of Bitcoin tax like Japan, France and Germany. Soon our country will formally regulating Bitcoin and we will just hope that they will impose no tax or less tax too so that many will be encourage to join this investment.
As for me, bitcoin tax isn't appropriate for decentralized currency because it has not been regulated into maximum tolerance. If those countries you mentioned was having bitcoin tax, I guess that's part of their bitcoin regulations though people has invested to digital currency will definitely gaining confidence towards taxation and possible ignoring of ban speculations.

Same status here in my country, the central did not approve the use of bitcoin or any virtual coins as one of the legal tender. It only approved the bitcoin to be use in remittance. The central bank also reports that they might to draft a regulation to protect the bitcoin users and investors from any scams or illegal trades.

Bitcoin is not yet legal but the use of Bitcoin is not prohibited. But if in my country Bitcoin is only prohibited if used as a transaction tool. The rest can still use and have Bitcoin.

Yes, the uncertain status of the crypto currency is sometimes better than its regulation. This primarily concerns the anonymity of trading and the commission of any transactions and taxation of this type of activity. Regulation of the crypto currency means not only the determination of its status, but also establishes a set of rules and restrictions that must be respected by all citizens. Uncertain, gray status, therefore, sometimes it is better than full certainty.
