ROFL... Nobody is blaming the altcoins because they are losing value. The altcoins are being blamed, because many of them have turned out to be scams and the promoters have indulged in unethical practises to make profits from them. On top of that, there have been heavy market manipulations with many of these altcoins. And the worst part is that the promoters usually make their exit, once they are able to profit out of the market manipulation. In the end, everyone loses out, including the investors, bounty hunters and even the exchanges where these coins are being listed. The drop in exchange rate was directly caused by these factors and this is why many of the coins have become dead and many others have lost more than 95% of their value.

It's been proven over the last few years (think this time two years ago) whenever Bitcoin rises, it usually drags up the price of the other alt/cryptos as well. And, when the price falls so too do the alts.

Some coins are fashionable for a while (especially after ICO launch) but the true test is their application in the wider community.
indeed the movement of bitcoin will be followed by other altcoins, although not all altcoins, only altcoins can survive. while altcoin which is not able to develop will become junk coins. of course trust and community become the main capital of altcoin to develop, besides that products that help the community can make altcoin will still exist

People who lack knowledge in the world of crypto investment will blame altcoins for the losses they experience. Because they should
who blamed themselves, because they choose the wrong coins and did not understand the correct way of investing. In my opinion there
is nothing wrong with altcoins when prices suddenly dump, and our capital runs out because of a drastic decrease in altcoins. In the
world of crypto investment price movements are very volatile and what moves prices is really supply and demand. So from that in order
to succeed investing in altcoins we must be diligent in learning about the world of crypto, so we can have the ability to read market
movements.

An increase in the price of altcoin which is influenced by an increase in bitcoin prices will usually also go down when the price of bitcoin has decreased. Altcoin is a clear form which is a large scale project created after the existence of bitcoin. I dont think that this is a form of competition but rather towards using the right ideas and business opportunities.

I would say this is a competition when altcoin does not follow the trend of bitcoin prices and is purely an increase and decrease based on the development of the project. But many altcoins will continue to be affected and keep abreast of the trend in bitcoin prices and I dont think it is a competition.

I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins

If BTC raises up, expect that altcoins follow so there is no use hating altcoins in my POV. Both have different purposes in the crypto world so you can't dismiss altcoins but I do agree that you will only have a problem if you invest in altcoins that you don't know. You should do your own research before investing as others do. I know most of the investors don't trust some altcoins anymore probably because a lot of ICOs have gone wrong in the early years. The competition in altcoins is fierce so I guess only those who are able to keep up stays in the game.

Everything seem to be satisfying the desire of the OP. We have seen altcoin (bitcoin sv) at x5 only in this year and was able to around 3x after it dumped. Ethereum had made good bitcoin value increase, same with few numbers of altcoins on the top 100 CMC. There are possibilities to see the trend throughout the year if they maintain confidence for investors.

everything that happens has its own era or time. as happened at the beginning of 2018 many altcoins are soaring up high to rival the rise of bitcoin. so too now bitcoin is experiencing a tremendous price decline that has slightly reduced the confidence of its users and presents doubts for some crypto traders to invest. and hopefully in 2020 the price of altcoin can go up again like in 2018 ago.

Actually in general all the alternative coins have the same fluctuating nature when there is a change in the price of bitcoin. The striking thing that can distinguish these altcoins is how the management team they have can maintain their existence.

Its true because its a fact that most altcoins are dependent on Bitcoins price. However if the Bitcoin’s prices improve so the altcoin does. Lets understand tha hate but the market in general is still struggling to recover from what it had experience in 2017.
It is true there is an important correlation between bitcoin and the price of most altcoins but at the same time during the last years altcoins have moved more independently from bitcoin but the problem is that this mostly applies when bitcoin is moving up and altcoins instead of moving up with bitcoin they do not move at all or their movement is many times smaller than bitcoin and it is why altcoins have not been very profitable during the last years.

From top coin best experience is the Litecoin and Binance coin. Last year Binance blockchain news and Litecoin halving change the situation of this coin, now again correction. Those coin had a latest news just like this year has Cardano, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Energi.
There is indeed nothing wrong about altcoins, there are lots of altcoins that are promising that are being produced few years ago it is actually a good investment for you if you have one but since the time you waited is very long, for some people they are not believing if they are still gonna get some money to that but the market nowadays are not that good like before so why can't we just wait for the right time that market recovers and make every cryptocurrency prices go up. There are still lots of altcoins now that can make you profitable, you just need to choose wisely.

too many altcoins and new tokens that cannot last long and disappear from the market. but there are also some altcoins that have survived to date, such as ETH, LTC, XRP and doge.
the fact that these coins still exist does not mean that they are all really good. they had a huge capitalization, but now it has also fallen very much. these projects have collected a lot of money and therefore they can continue to exist until now, but they can also disappear after some time

So, what should be to blame? Is it because altcoin has lost value or do you think that altcoin is no longer profitable? for me personally there is no other reason to keep holding top altcoin like ETH / BNB, because I believe that altcoin above still has a chance to increase its price again.

There is absolutely nothing with having or holding altcoins. As a matter of fact, Altcoins have given traders more profits that bitcoin didn't give.  Something will only be wrong when you hold or trade shit coins. They eventually would rekt you.
I do agree with your idea many Altcoins are working very well and you can adopt them for both holding if you want to do long term trading and also short term trading. The status of Altcoins was previously wronged by the scammers who caught users in their net by using Altcoins. Now we have found a considerable change in their performance and trust ability both.

I always tell new investors or old investors not to invest with coins that are difficult to develop. I mean, coins that do not have better price growth are abandoned and replaced with coins that are more suitable for investment. and to minimize the risk of loss, I think you need to invest with the top cryptoqurrency in the CMC market.

Your confidence actually surprises me. I am one of those skeptical guys, who think that the altcoins are going to drop further. And this will be the case when the next block reward halving happens for Bitcoin. If there is no big spike, then we can expect another major bearish phase to start and it may last for at least 2-3 years. And altcoins may get affected more than BTC or any of the Bitcoin forks.

Bitcoin is the first ever crypto currency and all crypto investors and developers agree on this point that bitcoin influences rest of the whole market with its pumps and dumps. What people experienced in 2017 was amazing, bitcoin was walking on the moon and people are expecting same after the halving procedure which is predicted to happen within 6,7 months. Altcoins will increase in value once bitcoin does.

if you have the right and safe strategy then trading of altcoins will not always will rekt you. you just don’t need to be greedy and you need to sell your coins on time. the main problem of people who lose money investing in altcoins is greed. so just choose the right coins and don't forget to look at the prices

I think actually the fault is not with the altcoins, It all depends on the investor's perspective. Most of the Investors choose BTC over altcoins for long term investment and alts as short term profit making, pumping and dumping style of trading that's why alts usually lack price stability and they dramatically rise and fall as compared to BTC.
That applies to altcoin which is already strong with daily price and volume positions, usually if it goes down too badly then investors will be involved by announcing a series of project development plans. Different things happen to weak coins with market reaction, they really can not move and die, in this case investors also can not do anything but sell their part and this is the real wrong part.
