Altcoins time will come for sure that is why i will never give up on altcoins, they are meant to fix the issues if old altcoins and if you select them right it will bring huge volume soon, i have friends that got rich with 100$ worth of Zcash and Zclassic, be picky which coin you hold
People just often invest on shitcoins because they see it rising without further studying nor researching anything about the coin they are investing. Though the volume of a coin's traders do affect its price, there are still just clumsy investors who just being blinded by the incresing price.
That is a sign that the trader is a newbie because he don't have anything to rely on aside from the price increase. A true trader should not become greedy because of the hype of a certain coin, he should have setups for his trades if he will be going to enter or wait for the price to retrace so he can safely ride the hype train. Investing in altcoins is a good way to diversify your portfolio. You can keep the majority of your funds in Bitcoin and buy some top altcoins for 10-20% of the portfolio which will be more risky and potentially more profitable position than BTC.
Investing with altcoin most profitable with bitcoin because with $10k investing on bitcoin only have little profit because bitcoin only growing up about 1% to 3%, but for altcoin can raise up with higher price above 10% and higher with price altcoin still lower will get much profit, but never choose wrong altcoin for investing.

Everyone investors want invest in top coins if you have long term planing anyway really no need to worry about top altcoins because their was big investors with marketcap. More top altcoins run good speed with their developing process so bear market is good effect for every altcoins.
no one considers altcoins wrong and once again we can see the big difference over the temporary recovery that is happening now, at least it proves altcoins still have the potential to recover and increase even higher. there is no need to be pessimistic about bad situations that happen because the change from negative to positive will definitely continue to happen because there is nothing stable in this market

At this rate, we may have very few altcoins left, which is good for the market as there are too many crypto projects that shouldn't be on the market at all. there is nothing wrong with altcoin, this is indeed the cycle that will occur on the altcoin market. The current problem and affecting altcoin is the number of scam projects that make investors no longer believe and have a negative impact on all altcoin and also for bitcoin. if bitcoin reaches $ 20k and altcoin doesn't follow it, of course the problem is the altcoin, but in my opinion it won't all. For example ETH which always compensates for Bitcoin.
A cycle that we don't know when altcoins will be back on top. for short term investors, they don't like what is happening to the altcoins market. When most of your investments are down 90%, there's really something wrong with that as it's hard to recover that price, if it will, it might again take time like years the least..

90% of the price of altcoin goes down, making many investors have to hold their coins, but to recover the price will be very long and there is no guarantee of returning to the initial price.
For me personally I really don't care for yet I don't abhor altcoins, I mostly dont care for altcoins that rely upon bitcoin price , The way that the estimation of most altcoins in the market relies upon the price of bitcoin .. i have so many bounty tokens that i was expecting to grow with bitcoin price but now it is worthless

I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins

I like altcoins, it is easier to invest in it (cause you know it's cheaper compared to bitcoin) and some altcoins are doing fine even if bitcoin drops its price. But the only thing I don't like about altcoins (I'm talking about trash coins here) is that the price hype in the early stage in the market but after months the price drops to the point where it totally loses its value. This is the reason why other investors do not like to invest in altcoins and are losing faith in them. They prefer bitcoin than these coins because it (bitcoin) already proved itself multiple times.

Altcoin may start to rise maybe a year after the Bitcoin's value start to rise up and we don't know when it will start to rising and halving is near yet we don't know if the market will keep going up or down but surely it will pump just like before.And, i think that only few altcoins will only able to keep up with Bitcoin since they have much potential than other who does not have purpose at all and lack of investors also community.
altcoins is the future money, it is use in different field like entertainment, remmitance, cargo, games and many more, there are many use of altcoin, it's just that people only see the price in short time and forget the real value of altcoin in the long run, there are people who use altcoin to scam other people. always know the project you are entering to.
I wouldn't invest in altcoins long term, just for short term speculation. Some serious experts say almost all of AC are doomed because of insecurities or no real inherent value. for sure it's not guaranteed just because some ppl talking bad about AC, I know but I'm trusting my expert and of course my commom sense...
In fact, the best investments to make sometimes are altcoins, because of the possibility of a multiplier effect. Even if there isn't a general upsurge in the market, there are certain altcoins, inasmuch as the teams are still actively involved in them, they will one day, if not more, grow to high significant levels.
Basically this multiplier you said is of degrees because many altcoins these days have low multiplier compared to the past especially 2017. We have had many times of Bitcoin surge and downtrend of the altcoins, so, there is everything wrong with the altcoins. The possibility of altcoins to surge may not be visible six months times based on the past records. Many investors have stopped investing because of altcoins inability to give profits.
