I agree to you but to promote bitcoin i think this is very hard to do.

That is the difficulty that I also face, the stigma of the community and my closest friends about bitcoin is already bad. So I stopped inviting and focusing on my personal goals. Well, from here I learned, one effective way to provide education is to show the results we get, so people will realize that cryptocurrency does not only contain fraud.

For now I do not see how promoting bitcoin online is going to somehow bring more people to this market, people are being very careful with their money now and are only using it for stuff they need and are reducing the luxuries they buy to the minimum, even if I believe in bitcoin it is difficult for people to accept an asset that can lose and gain value in such a fast fashion, also many of those that have the means to invest in bitcoin have lost money on the stock market and most likely do not want to take the risk with something like bitcoin at the moment.

I think everyone who have access to internet already know what bitcoin is. People talk about bitcoin and cryptocurrency everyday as an investment option and i think the hype is well saturated around the globe. Promotion isn't the problem of cryptocurrency, price fluctuation is. The outside world sees the entire cryptocurrency market as an investment option where people take off profits from the up and down of it's market structure.

However, what we need to promote is the potentials of the blockchain as a technology to provide tampered proof private network for virtually every sector so that people will know there is more to it than just cryptocurrency and when the blockchain technology got adopted, cryptocurrency will follow suit

I think I get the part that it is a good time because someone has so much time during the lockdown. It includes me, this lockdown gave me additional hours in this forum. However, they are also correct that some are busy or worried and doesn't have the time to invest or learn anything about Bitcoin. Maybe because not all of us are comfortable in this pandemic, they may be doing something much more important.

it really depends on the current condition of the individual. if he has other things to attend to like how to supplement his family's daily food, or meds, or how to stay not to be infected, i guess it would be very hard for him to concentrate on looking at bitcoin or crypto. maybe for others that are self-sufficient and don't have to worry their basic necessities, they would appreciate to learn other options on how to earn money or how to use crypto as payment method so as to minimize the fiat money contact. you have to be more understandable on how you approach a friend, or a colleague. check his status first.

When you're confused because you can no longer make money from Bitcoin then you have a bigger problem and the only solution to this is simply quitting the world of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. I think this is not a good time because people are in fear of their life. Daily thousands of people are going die so that how you could think that this is good time to spread BTC? Yes people may spending their time in internet but they are always watching news about death and attack of COVID-19. As it uses blockchain, i think people will automatically know about crypto currency when they will work for blockchain.

I'm sure majority of members here in the community have been promoting btc in their own way even prior to the corona virus outbreak, some successful, others haven't convinced any. Of course, I agree with you, but we can promote btc anytime we want. I know that you have been promoting btc in your country, so keep it up!.

During this pandemic, I think it is a good time to advertise or promote Bitcoin to people because most of the governments in different countries imposed lockdown or quaratine which means that people at home have much time to listen. Most of the people now are surfing or using internet to keep the boredom away or they use it to find where they can get additional income or how to earn money online. Bitcoin is the way, if the person is willing they will listen to you and we all know when it comes to income everyone is head's up to this kind of thing so begin with it from the basics, benefits, merits, how to earn and of course don't forget to tell also the volatility of it and the risks because if they are really into it, they will accept the unpredictable state of bitcoin. So if you want to promote it do it, anytime and anywhere it is a great idea though.

Well, it might be of a good time but not to say it was a perfect time to invest crypto and encourage people to come in crypto and take the risk.
We are speculating the market price to either goes high or going deep, it is still unpredictable and so we can't tell anyone that we are sure that we have a huge market pump tomorrow, next week or next month. We have lived the market for many years and of its 10 years if existence, we can't hear that someone is perfectly predicting the market movement.
