Thankfully no, although I did change ISP's a while ago come to think of it. The laptop porblem child won't work regardless of whether one or both wallets are open.

Am using 6.4.6 since it came out. my 42 wallet on the laptop works fine.

You probably already have it covered but are you running the latest client - 6.4.6

I have had never any problems to connect. Perhaps there is something wrong with your sexcoin.conf. What happens, if you delete or rename it? If you're not solomining, your wallet should work without sexcoin.conf.

I have an SXC wallet on my PC and another SXC wallet on my laptop, the laptop most times won't connect to any nodes, while my PC connects after I've been online for a while (anywhere up to an hour)

Even if I have both PC and Laptop running the laptop won't connect (it used to) the laptop connects to other wallets, just not SXC.

I thought that a wallet in effect becomes a node while it's running, is this correct?

If not, What's needed to create a node ?

That is a shame, although i might point out you would prob have more pull with the development of sxc then most other coins if your project is of reasonable size and digdug has a payment system already set up

SXC was already on coinpayments but there wasn't enough of a market on the exchanges for coinpayments to convert the coins so it got removed.

Let's be honest here, majority of the supported coins wouldn't make anywhere near the required monthly volume set by coinpayments.

Just thought I'd update on our project for which SXC had been in consideration for payments...

Unfortunately a directors vote has resulted in another currency being selected moving forwards at this stage.... I would have liked to see SXC be the unanimous choice, however with the crypto stuck a little bit in limbo at the moment, risk analysis by our accounts dept. deemed it not ideal as a primary payment option. Never know, things might change next year if we move to multiple payment options.

That said all the best with SXC to the developers and community, hope to see SXC as the preferred choice for adult payment systems one day in the future!
