No surrender, no retreat, no regret.
I have compiled and uploaded the 64-bit Windows binaries per numerous requests. Tested fine on a Win7 notebook I've got recently.

https://github.com/ghostlander/nsgminer/releases/tag/nsgminer-v0.9.0

Wolf0, your kernel distributed by NiceHash with their miner is also well done, could use an idea or two out of it. One of my primary concerns was to get rid of scratch register usage to run more than one wavefront concurrently, but FastKDF seems to be too complicated to fit VRegs and SRegs alone. Although I've cut the scratch reg usage down by half which also helps.

NSGminer v0.9.0 (NeoScrypt GPU miner) is available, see the OP. Over 2x performance of the current SGminer.

HD7990 (two Tahiti GPUs, downvolted and downclocked to 850MHz core / 1250MHz memory) delivers 680KH/s for me.

R9 280X (unlucky one with Elpida memory, 1050MHz core / 1600MHz memory) = 400KH/s

HD6970 = 120KH/s, HD5870 = 100KH/s

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too!

A Windows build for download is very welcome Wink  Please help, I cannot build it.

Thankz in advance.

KSHAKE320 vs NeoScrypt ,which algo consume more eletricity power??  Huh

Within next few days I will do proper testing. I am just looking for a hot algo as my miners are turned into electrical heaters by the wintertime, so I hope neoscrypt will be hot enough. Smiley

If i dont ramp up fan speeds i get high temps on my radeons with x11, (2) 7950's keep my room more than warm

Cheers

You tell us. NeoScrypt is more about security than power consumption. I prefer BLAKE2 to Keccak though.

Stop using --no-submit-stale, it's like burning money.

Why you say so?

Because it is - SGMiner can't know for a fact a share is stale, and you lose nothing by submitting it. By not submitting it, you are dropping some valid shares.

I use many. Performance profiling has been done on Core 2. Older processors aren't of much use for mining, The fastest I have is a Xeon X5660 3.2GHz (6 cores, HT). SSE2 4-way produces 4KH/s in a single thread or 30KH/s in 12 threads. It was 25KH/s before.

NeoScrypt CPUminer v2.4.1 released, see the OP.

20% to 50% performance improvement over the previous release depending on CPU and engine.

Code:
NeoScrypt CPUminer v2.4.1
Usage: minerd [OPTIONS]
Options:
-a, --algo=ALGO       specify the algorithm to use
      neoscrypt  NeoScrypt(128, 2, 1) with Salsa20/20 and ChaCha20/20 (default)
      altscrypt  Scrypt(1024, 1, 1) with Salsa20/8 through NeoScrypt
      scrypt     Scrypt(1024, 1, 1) with Salsa20/8
      sha256d    SHA-256d
  -e, --engine=N        choose a NeoScrypt hashing engine
      0          integer (default)
      1          SSE2
      2          SSE2 4-way

What is the hash rate for a specific CPU you use?

Hey guys can I get some help here with my bat file?

This is the system:

- AMD FX6300
- 16GB DDR3 1600
- AMD R9 280X VAPOR-X TRI-X OC (stock 1100,1500)

And this is what I got so far, some HW errors and no accepted shares Sad

Best I got so far

Hello any help?¿¿
