There is a new coin in town. Electric coin. Gonna mine it while diff is low.

Yea, well that coin is being renamed to volt. Seems like other coins are having issues as well.

Do not believe anyone asking you to replace your peer.dat and .conf file with what they have on their machines.

They want you to be on their fork. That's all there is to it. They are not here to help you.

sad to say thats the price of keeping an innovative coin. everyone being on the same fork is how you fix a coin that is broken.

1) close nutcoind and/or the wallet

2) be sure it is not remaining in activity monitor (force close it if needed)

3) edit nutcoin.conf, and be sure there is ONLY this node (new version protocol 70003) :

addnode=192.99.4.55:9508

4) remove peers.dat

5) git pull an recompile the daemon with the last version (get the new version protocol 70003)

http://www.nutcoins.com/

6) restart nutcoind or wallet

This will shutdown and burst every peers connected with the old version 70002, forcing them to download the new version.

You forgot the step where you need to delete your block data.

The dev needs to create a superseed and add it to the client.  That would have solved the issue, but now people wont update and it will remain forked.

Not exactly dead. We just need to restart everything. Or dmx gives us his conf.. and we delete everything but our wallet.dat

I am running two coin daemons in two different virtual machines. Both report different block count.

What is going on?

and which one is the correct blockchain?

That's what I call a dead coin. Everybody is on their own forks.

Happy wasting Hashes.

Valid point.
There will be too many blockchain forks until essential diff rising.
Stupid dev released stupid coin  Angry
well fuck... i guess the coin is dead. Angry my network hashes per second are only looking at MY hashes per second.... wtf? srsly whats going on? forks everywhere?!

yeah... i just lost my blocks as well ... wtf is going on
thats normal for a new coin with such a low difficulty. lots of orphans. just keep calm and keep mining. make sure you have the right version of the wallet.

When you're mining on an outdated version of the chain and you find blocks, they will appear as immature, and then boom, chain updates and everything becomes orphaned. Happened like twice to me in less than 5 minutes now

NOW!

That's can't be right. 744Kh/s network hash rate? Nahh... I have 2mh/s nethash and I'm at block 55k now. See this:

I'm @ block 54828 now. This doesn't make much sense anymore. It jumped like 500 blocks, made everything I mined orphaned and now network hash is dropping. Yet I'm using the node that was given for protocol 70003 and deleted my peer.dat...

Edit: Now block 54841.. and I bet it will jump to 55k soon in less than a second
