i did. then i deleted the blockchain and not it works. i think the blockchain became to big for my old raspi.
after i restarted without the hole blockchain it works again.
afterwards i was able to place the hole blockchain in the folder and it still works. i just dont know why it stopped running.
the blockchain is not too big for my raspi.
I've been a lot less visible over the last few months.

I've noticed that over the last few months that no matter how much NXT is bought on Poloniex, the NXT for sale is always topped up to between 38,000,000 to 40,000,000. Is it some massive bag holder that is the main one doing this?

ups, my pi only has 466 RAM. thats why -Xmx800M cant work.

playing with the amount of -xmx does not change anything.
and i checked htop during the start of the node. memory was never full.
and enabling swap doesn't change anything....

Did you try -Xmx350M, -Xmx400M ?

Configure the -Xmx flag to about 100-200MB less than your RAM.
For RPi 1 GB RAM box you can try -Xmx800M or -Xmx900M
thank you for the tipp. but starting the node with java -Xmx700m -jar nxt.jar just causes other problems.
