Can someone please assist with this problem, I am running the Nxt wallet (shows version 2.2.0 at the top) on a Mac running OSX El Capitan version 10.11.1 (15B42). The wallet has been running perfectly for a long time and I shut it down to reboot the machine and now the Nxt wallet will not start again, when it starts up it goes through some checks and then displays the following error message:

Nxt must double its marketcap in order to reach the top ten. Nxt currently has a marketcap of 7.8mln while DASH (at 5th place) hast over 15 mln. It's a long way to go.
Cool, NXT must reach above 8 million market cap so that we can get into the TOP 5.
We need more promotion for it (facebook, twitter ,etc)

Well we've been there before!
Nxt must double its marketcap in order to reach the top ten. Nxt currently has a marketcap of 7.8mln while DASH (at 5th place) hast over 15 mln. It's a long way to go.
It could literally happen in 1 day, if the investors would see the real value of NXT.
The money is there, you just need the demand too.
And the demand is either reached via marketing or via development. (I think the development is ok, we need the marketing)

I have been out of cryptocurrencies for 8months. I invested almost all my BTC on NXT. Now I see it is quite down. Any suggestion? Did developers quit? Any solution? Is this project greyed completely out? what a shame
NXT is very much alive and kicking, frequent new features and releases, plenty of devs too. Mostly on http://nxtforum.org though and Slack http://slackinvite.supernet.org.
Price was pushed down these months by low liquidity and some early stakeholder whales dumping, and by having hardly any marketing. And at the moment it's because BTC is taking all the money. Read about the recently crowdfunded (10M NXT) marketing/business development project called Tennessee. That will probably influence price a bit
