i got the same thing. I removed the Xms and Xmx options to see how well that works

Just tried updating to the new client 0.5.7

Never had problems before with the NXT client; But, i'm getting that as a warning (picture) and after it loads transactions, it shuts down.

I updated to the latest java version and still getting the same results.
