lol the coin is still in beta and source code not even released and you expect it to be on BTC-e already? they will add it once the system has proven itself I bet.
Adding well know peers in your web.xml increase your chances to be on real main blockchain at any moment

3- Open web.xml with a text editor
4- find this line:

6- it will looks like:

I still have not received anything and my cmd hasn't printed anything in a while. I figured that was because I have no NXT. Am I missing anything?

its impossible to work like that. i think the theory behind the system needs to be reconsidered. if everyone is in its own branch and sends transactions and requests that are lost in limbo and needs to check and redownload .zip files ..well i do i need to say more?
Increase amount of connected peers. Two days at 0.4.7e, two restarts of JVM-server. No problem with staying syncronized. I increased from base 20 to 1000 (often displays ~150-175 active peers in client). And add well-known peers form list from last pages, it may help.what now?

Those parameters lays there: "\webapps\root\WEB-INF\web.xml".
